Dragon of the masters

When she felt herself hit the ground Silvera knew that she was in trouble. She couldn't feel anything except the blood that was leaving through her neck, and feeling that was a struggle on it's own. With how everything was developing, it was seeming more and more like everything was becoming lost. Her vision was fading rapidly and she could hear nothing at this point. She was dieing. To her though, it would be an honorable death. She was going to die at least attempting to protect her clan, and doing her duties.

She felt her body ignite though, as something very hot was pushed into her neck and started moving through her entire body. She could feel the pain of it burning her, and she knew that someone was burning out the poison, but was it already too late? She felt something cool following the fire in and tried to move, but pain raked her body like none other. She didn't know what had been broken if anything. Her body was fairly limp when it hit the ground so there shouldn't have been too much additional damage, but she couldn't tell for sure. For now, there was nothing she could do until the wounds were closed, and she was too weak to be of any help.

Zil'caron continued working the fire through the veins of his alphess knowing that they were only working with seconds of her life, not even minutes. The speed of which he had to work was not allowing for him to be as precises as he wanted, but this was something that couldn't be misdone either.

He made sure that he fed his magic through every single vein of her body, and when the other dragon started healing her wings, he snapped. Please, focus on the neck, she's going to die in minutes id we don't get these wounds on her neck healed from blood-loss alone he told him.

Nira noticed that everything had been turned to Chaos. The one female trying to take it away from the lands, the other male fighting it. Silvera was laying in a pool of blood, and things were looking less and less hopeful for her as she saw her blood expanding on the ground at a rapid rate. There was a pool of black blood on the ground as well, and she could see the wounds on the beast. It was working.

She positioned herself around the back of it's neck. One thing that they had over the beast was maneuverability. They were smaller so the could move faster. With that added speed the position themselves better as she had and focus on key areas. Nira, she took a shot directly to the back of the beasts neck with an beam of energy. The beasts neck gushed open, and the restricting healing magic was working. It was not healing back up. Everyone focus on the neck wound, we can take it down easier! she announced.

Cyclone let out a small growl as he located her neck, bending close to get a really good look at it as he sniffed. He closed his plain blue eyes and relaxed, summoning as much healing magic as he needed, sending it straight into her neck. The blood pooling around them filled his nostrils, turning his vision red. He could barely smell anything else, and the only thing he would ever be able to see right now was red, and the poison. It was too overpowering, so he had to go based on hearing, and feel.

He could no longer smell the dragons around him, so he had no clue how he was doing with Silvera. First, he carefully cleaned the wound with his water magic, to make sure he didn't touch anything he shouldn't. He then brought his paw over Silvera's neck, touching it as little as possible, bringing it down Sil's neck to see how much had healed. It was almost fully healed, so he continued to channel the magic into it. he kept his paw hovering over the spot he had felt wasn't healed, and touched it just as lightly as before every so often, until he could feel that it was fully healed. He never knew blood could be so overpowering. These were the only times he was truly blind.

He could hear the roars of the jorthian, and the others. he should have been up there, he could have given a healer who could see a chance to heal Silvera. He also knew energy, which is what was needed. He had no clue how to tell if anything else was needed for Silvera, so he sent his healing magic through her body, giving it a mind of it's own as it searched for anything it could heal. He let out a small growl of frustration, wishing the blood and poison was gone. Shouldn't we move her from here? To get her as far from this tainted spot as possible? He asked Zil, looking in his general direction, off a couple of inches.

Avalon watched as Shannon went to distract the beast, and to lead it away. He let out a roar as it made Shannon crash, and rushed over as Reklieve and Nira both distracted it away. He could tell that she was already using her fire magic as she was biting down on the stick she had in her mouth really hard. He looked down at her, wondering how much it might hurt since he couldn't cool the veins down, only heal them. He tried to find Zil and Cyclone, hoping that they might be done with Silvera and were able to help, but it looked like something still needed to be done. Although, Avalon was too far away to be able to tell exactly.

He let out a small growl as he watched Nira and Reklieve, now alone in attacking the beast, as he could hear Nira tell everyone to focus on the neck wound. He summoned his ice and concentrated on the beast, angry at it, and knowing he could hit it from here. He shot the ice, making it shoot straight for the neck wound, hitting the wound dead on. He then turned back to Shannon and helped her out, sending his own healing magic into her, healing the veins faster and leaving her with more energy.

Shannon focused hard on her wound, almost done with her fire ability. The pain and the venom coursed through her veins. She tried to remember the remedy for it. She glanced up and found the creature fighting again. Nira and Reklieve were fighting the thing alone as Avalon came down to her. She could see the helplessness in his eyes and the anger. Everyone focus on the neck wound, we can take it down easier! Avalon turned and shot his ice element at it's neck as the others started attacking to its weak point. The beast screamed and almost getting at the others. Avalon turned back to her and started using his healing magic so she wouldn't have to do it and waste her energy. Shannon turned and finished the wound and let Avalon do what he needed to do. She turned back to where the fighting was.

She wanted to help but she knew that she would only get in the way if she tried to fight. She would be killed in no time... not if... Shannon blinked and smiled. The exotic beauty closed her eyes and concentrated. Around her and Avalon small balls of light started to appear, five at a time. There cam fifty... a hundred... two hundred. The more that came the more room the take and brighter the darkness became. Now there were five hundred... eight hundred... Shannon reached her limit to one thousand. She could go more but she doesn't want to go over board here.

The beauty opened her eyes slowly and exhaled. The fireflies reacted to her breath as a command. They all brightened.
Firefly Storm Shannon whispered her technique out loud. Right when she said it they charged forward, moving as fast as an energy beam only a tiny bit faster than even that. The beast was starting to get close to hurting the others, the fireflies went at its face, blocking its vision, there were only three hundred fireflies attacking at the eyes. It screamed in frustration making it's neck vulnerable. Shannon breathed, the other fire flies landing on its wounds and climbed inside those wounds. She thought that since Jorthians are weak against energy that even the firefly technique should hurt it. It was then that she thought the fireflies could go inside the wounds and attack it inside. Shannon growled, the beat whipped its tail, aiming at her and Avalon...

Jaruk watched from afar of what appeared to be a volcano. He knew it sounded right. He heard stories that monsters live there. He hoped they weren't true. Hmm, he was curious though, about the volcano at least. Maybe there might be something in his past about volcanoes. He might gain his memories then. Though he doubt it. Instead the large silver male turned and started to head back to his temporary den made from his earth ability. It was at the slope, covered by the trees, making it hard to find for dragons that don't know exactly where it was. Jaruk did though. He always made his dens in places where they are hard to find. He wasn't that well with his own kind. The other times he was with dragons they thought him a freak, scared of him by his size, or even think his stupid when he asked questions like what are Wyverns. He can't help it though, he has no memories of his past. The only thing he truly knew was his name and that.

At his den he went to lie down and sleep. The sun was down and he just wanted to rest so he could continue forth on his quest to find out who he is. He heard screams of dragons and of something that sounded really powerful and horrible. Jaruk blinked and looked outside. Beyond the thick mass of trees he could see lights flashing. Curious he got to his paws and padded through the trees. He was at the edge of a cliff now, at the distance he found a large creature that made his blood turn cold. There were two dragons fighting the thing head on, two dragons on the ground nearby the beast and three dragons a bit far off from them. He blinked, he never saw that creature before, yet doesn't know every breed of dragons yet. However something told him that was the monster from the volcano. Jaruk thought about helping them but he doesn't know how he could be of any help.

He found the creature being blinded by what looked like many fireflies. Jaruk saw the beast screaming as its enemies aimed at its neck. It smashed its tail on the earth aiming toward the two dragons on the ground. Jaruk wondered if the black male dragon could fend the huge tail off. However he didn't take his chances. He tipped over the edge and started to fall. He unfolded his feathered wings, stopping the fall. With his hind legs he pushed off from the cliff's rocks and moved forward. His wind magic pushing behind him, making him go faster. He span, gaining quickly to the beast. Jaruk moved his wind element, making him go high in the air and at a safe distance from the creature. He narrowed his eyes at it and used his wind element in huge gusts, moving it back and away from the two dragons. With his earth element and wind element he shot earth spikes at it, aiming to its neck.

You are in my space... GET OUT

Reklieve parted her jaws in her own raging fury at the beast near her, diving and sweeping out of the way, avoiding it's claws and fangs. The four wings blasting air in a downward direction as it seemed to twist and snap, trying to get a hold of everything flying around it. They had to be confusing the beast.. Making it all the more easier to take down. The bigger they are... The harder they fall. Her wings snapping open as a bellow escaped her jaws, she once more lunged toward te creature, having no magic ability that this beast was weakened too, but she could mask herself in shadow. Confuse him even more. Letting her Dark magic take over her body and seep across her scales and body, she became much of a shadow herself, but to touch would make one freak for the hardened surface of her body and scales. The Orb on her chest swirled to red, the only light showing through her shadowy body. She dipped below, wings snapping shut as she dived.

Her tail lashed and struck the Jorthian, blood dripping from the new wound along his thigh where Reklieve's razor sharp spikeds had cut through. She had no ways of helping any other way than this. Kill it, and it ends faster. Kill the Jorthian and then the fight is over. That's when she leveled out and spotted the fireflies(Or what seemed to be fireflies) Attacking the Jorthian. Reklieve could not help but give a vile malicious grin. Shannon had a good idea there. Cracking her wings open slightly, she twisted her body and began to gain altitude, much like a drill, she rammed into the creature, her horns jerking inside it's flesh and she broke free before the creature could get a grasp on her, still blinded by the fireflies. Her tail once again struck into the Jorthian and she jerked backward, up, and she leveled out above it. Hearing Nira's call of focusing on its wound, Reklieve nodded to the command and did as needed.

Her wings plastered to her scales, she opened with a thundering BOOM!, her weight rammed into the Jorthian's chest and her claws dug into it's neck, her jaws clamping down on his throat and jugular as her tail wrapped around his neck as well, stopping at the chest where it dug into flesh. Her wings flaring ass she kept someform of balances, occasionally slipping as her back paws attempted to grab a foot hold on the beast. She dug her jaws in deeper, teeth nearly puncturing the vital vein. she jerked her head to the side and growled, keeping as good a hold as she could for as long as she could as the Jorthian struggled.

The pain that racked Silvera's body was both a good and bad sign. It was good because it meant that she was still alive but dear her ancestors was she in pain. She couldn't hardly move from the pain that was writhing in her body. She was almost begging death to come take her. She wanting it to come and end the pain, and end the suffering.

Slowly she felt the pain starting to subside and she felt her neck being pulled from the inside. the flesh was starting to pull itself back together, and the pain in her neck was started to become less prominent. The overwhelming scent though of her blood was horrid. The venom of that vile creature was still mixed in the blood that she could feel pooled around her, and slowly her eyes started to open.

Her head started to lift off of the ground. Everything was still spinning around her. The blood, the terrain, the sky, the trees, everything around her was spinning, completely disoriented. By our ancestors, what happened to me? she asked aloud. She remembered somewhat where she was, and she heard horrid screeches, so she knew there was a fight of some sort going on, but she wasn't sure about anything, and moving was not an option. She was too dizzy to even stand.

The venom was becoming more and more diluted, and soon it was none existent from the fire that was coursing through her veins. Once he was certain that the venom was out of her system, he watched as the blue dragon closed the massive bite wound on her neck from where each of the beast's fangs had sank into her flesh. Seeing his alphess in this condition not only a week or two after her run in with Luthicia herself was more than just a little bit scary to him. Silvera was his mates sister, and he loved her like she was his sister as well.

He also respected her as his Alphess, and he knew that this clan as a whole could not afford to lose her. Regardless of how things had played, she was still highly respected in the clan, and the way she lead the clan, even by herself right now while trying to raise her young was phenomenal. She was definitely a strong willed dragoness, and he knew that Aries couldn't have a better sister.

When Zil'caron heard her start waking up and start asking what had happened. His reply was short and to the point. Don't move, Silvera. You have lost a very large amount of blood, and I'm surprised you even are awake now. That is a great relief to us, but with everything considered, you moving right now would only add to the risk of losing you right now. he told her as Cyclone mentioned they should get her at least out of the pool of blood.

Zil'caron agreed. Then needed to get Silvera out of the blood that she had lost. If any of her own blood seeped back into her it could poison her again. Letting is earth magic take over, he let a bed of moss form underneath Silvera absorbing most of the blood that she had lost. Once most of the blood had been absorbed, he used vines and roots to roll underneath her gently to move her out of that area. This would have to suffice for now until the beast is gone. Until then, they couldn't think about getting her back inside the tree.

Blood. That was all that could be seen from the beast's neck now, not even a wound. The counter magic was doing it's job keeping everything from healing it's own wounds it appeared that one of his major arteries had been hit as well. As soon as she said to focus on the neck of the beast, that's exactly what they did.

The exotic colored dragoness created some type of energy orbs that massed together and shot around the beasts eyes, blinding it, while the black dragon shot the being with ice. All was helping to get the beast weaker, but then she watched the other unknown dragoness do something that was either foolish or uneducated. She started physically attacking the beast. She wasn't to concerned about the laceration on the beast with her tail, but no sooner had the dragoness done that, she latched herself to the beast's neck clamping over its artery to make sure it ruptured.

Biting this beast was the one thing that you couldn't do. This beast was highly venomous, and by consuming this beast's blood, she was drawing the poison into her even quicker. She herself had been infected with this beasts venom, but she didn't know, nor did she want to know the aftermath of what could happen if that beast venom was consumed.

With that, she did what she had been planning to do before the dragoness had attacked him. What looked like beams of purple colored energy radiating from her maw only to be pulled back in as her breath weapon charged. Beam after beam of the vibrant energy started pulling into her maw, forming into a small highly pressurized ball that when she released, would end up being almost two a foot in diameter. More, and more energy was being drawn in until she could feel the beam being at it's threshold. Where it was losing and gaining potency at the same time. With what sounded like a loud crack of thunder, The beam of energy shot from her maw making direct impact with the beast's neck just above where the dragoness was. The force of the energy that she had put into the beam was enough to allow the beam to pass though the beast's neck almost as easily as a rock or pebble fell into a lake.

The beam sliced clear through the beast's neck, and blood start bursting out from the wounds seeping down into its lungs forcing it to drown near instantly starting it's descent from the sky. The beast was dead, and the only thing left now, is ti treat the dragoness for the poison, and make sure that Silvera is okay, and get her back home.

She banked left and landed next to the three dragons on the ground. Hoe is she? She asked them hoping to hear that she is going to be okay, and not that she has only a certain amount of time left, or is already gone.

Clyclone just sat as Silvera asked what had happened to her, finally waking up. Telling her what was fully going on wasn't the smartest idea right now, and Zil had pretty much covered everything when he told Silvera not to move. Zil had obviously thought his idea a good one, since he moved Silvera the best he could after he suggested it. He looked over at the fight and tried to get a picture of it. Most of the blood was gone, so he had an easier time, and could see a blurry image of a dragon biting the Jorthian. Shit.....

He looked over to Zil, wondering if he saw. Zil! One of the group just bit the Jorthian, we need to get over there and fast! Before it kills her. He lifted off the ground and slowly flew over in the general direction, and could hear all the attacks hitting the Jorthian. He slowed down as he heard it start to fall as the wind from it washed over him. Cyclone hovered as he realized there was another dragon in the area. It wasn't one of the original from the group.

He ignored it and continued to fly towards Reklieve, ready to tell her to stay still and to wait as they healed her.

Avalon watched as little fire-fly like bulbs of light started to form around him and Shannon. He smiled to himself as he watched them attack the Jorthian, helping everyone out. What he didn't notice was the tail as it swept towards them. At that time, he was too distracted by the other male that was flying in to help them. He saw the tail at the last minute, struggling against a huge gust of wind.

Avalon flew towards it, knowing the wind might not be enough, not wanted Shannon to get hit. He collided with the tail, and hard. His claws dug in, as the tail continued to try and fight the wind. It didn't last long as finally Nira was able to finally kill the beast, sending a purple rod of energy through it.

As it started to fall, Avalon tried to jerk away, but pain shot through his chest from the impact of the tail, and he couldn't get his claws free. He started to panic as the beast kept falling, picking up speed as it was not alive to stop itself. Avalon's wings flared, beating, trying to get him free. He ignored the pain in his chest, knowing being crushed would feel worse. He struggled more, feeling his claws come lose, he went to fly away, until the tail pinned him to the ground.

He let out a roar as pain shot through his chest again, as he struggled to get away from the tail. The ground was moving beneath him as he scratched at it. He finally got out from under the tail, collapsing on the ground not too far away, slowly starting to heal himself as he felt broken bones in his chest, unaware that a rib bone had pierced his heart slightly.

The Hidden Past

Shannon watched as the strange dragoness attacked, biting at the demon's throat. She could... feel the poison going through the dragoness's body as some of the fireflies she created touched the dragoness. It was an odd feeling, like she knew what was happening to the dragoness and to the Jorthian. She could feel great pain and rage from all the dragons. Shannon never felt like this when her fireflies touched Typhoon. Could this mean her power is getting stronger? She doesn't know but she doesn't care as of right now. The creature out of desperation flung its tail at her and Avalon. Shannon struggled to get up and try and dodge it but she couldn't. Her wound wasn't finished healing and it hurt terribly when she tried to put weight on her hind leg. She wasn't going to be able to get out of this in time. The exotic beauty turned to Avalon, to tell him to get out of the way and leave her behind. However she knew he would refuse, he would rather die to protect her than to let her die. Yet she wanted to at least try.

A huge gust of wind knocked the breath out of her when she opened her maw. She gripped the earth below her with her three good legs, her bad leg's paw barely touching the soil. What on earth created that?! She opened her eyes to see and found a speeding silver figure in the sky. Shannon stared, it was a dragon but it wasn't Cyclone, it was someone else, someone that wasn't part of the group. The dragoness didn't know who it was but she was thankful all the same. Yet the wind alone wasn't enough. Avalon seem to have the same idea. He charged and collided with the tail, clinging to it with his claws. Shannon gasped.

Nira released a powerful energy that Shannon didn't see before. It was a different color to normal energy light. It was a purple energy beam. Normal energy light was a white non color kind of light. Shannon stared, amazed by the power. Her eyes glowed, it seems that energy is a powerful element to have and can get stronger. It seems to her however that all elements can get more powerful just as the dragons who wield the elements get stronger. Neptune always told her that elements magic are only as strong as the dragons who has them. Dragons always get stronger, mentally, physically and spiritually. Like Zil'caron, he must have gotten terribly strong to have survived the volcano, and she could only guess he only survived because of his fire element. Lava is fire after all. It dawned on her that her fire element could get just as powerful when she gets stronger too. Shannon believes she has been getting stronger because now she could sense most of the energies around her, the dragons, the earth and trees and the air.

The Jorthian finally died from the beam and was falling down. Shannon stared in horror when Avalon couldn't get free of the beasts tail. He tried to get free in time but it got him, crushing him.
Avalon!! She cried as he struggled to get free. Out of panic Shannon half ran and half limped to her mate. She knew there was nothing to watch for because the enemy was dead now. Avalon managed to get out of it but he was terribly hurt. She came over to him and found he was starting to heal himself now. Shannon leaned down to help him, ignoring the pain in her leg. She was aware that the poison was still in her veins but she couldn't just lie around and watch her mate hurt as bad as he is. The exotic beauty knelt down and looked Avalon over with her healing magic. He was working on healing his broken bones and that so she didn't have to work on that. Instead she went to check his organs. Her heart almost stopped when she found his heart was punctured slightly from one of his broken ribs. She gasped, horror in her face. It seemed that Avalon hasn't realized it yet but he will soon when he finds out he can't breathe. His lungs aren't ruptured. The heart is one of the most important organs to all life that moves. As important as the brain and lungs. The heart pumps blood, if it is ruptured the blood won't travel and therefor healing the bones and the broken muscles because of the broken bones would be useless. Shannon sent her healing magic to the broken rib. She put it back to where it was and repaired it before working on the heart. She knew if she worked on the heart first the rib would still hurt the heart by being there so instead she worked on the rib first. The dragoness preyed that it was worth the time. Shannon worked on the heart, being as careful as she could. In her mind she replayed everything that her father taught her of healing. Of course healing magic is a complex element and need to know the body first and if you don't know what you are doing you would only endanger the life your trying to save. However Shannon was trained by Neptune of healing, she learned how to use it as a wyrmling. She was a healer of the Clan after all. In the distance she noticed that the silver dragon had disappeared, she wondered if she would ever see that dragon again, she hoped so, she wanted to thank him for trying to save her and Avalon.
