Silvera had been waiting and preparing for this day for quite a while. However, at the same time the overall feeling of dread filled her. She was full of anguish and desire to kill the beast, however she was fearful that they were all going to be flying into their deaths. Any one else that came with her was going to be putting everything on the line to try to keep the continent safe. She was counting on Luthicia being there as well which would be an added danger and dimension for her to try and cover. This was going to be a tough fight, and she knew it. She also knew that the probability of losing a friend in this fight was also high, and that the risk of death for herself was high as well. All of these thoughts were going through her mind as she waited for the others who would be participating in the assault to arrive. She already knew that Niradana was coming from Kukiron to meet up with her, and that she was probably running with energy magic at the moment so that she wouldn't tire. She wondered though who else would show up she had heard possibilities, but no definite answer from anyone but Nira and they needed at least five dragons for this mission. She also took a deep breath and thought about her young. If something happened to her, who would take care of them? they had all grown up a lot but she couldn't help but wonder if they would be okay on their own. Her and Adonis were getting along rather well, especially from when he help her save Nicara. She would never forget that about him. It was definitely a help to her as he started spending more time with the young and took a lot of pressure off of her. They also seemed to be liking him more and more so things were looking positive for him, and she was starting to like him more and more. The only thing left to do now though, was wait for everyone else. Nira pushed herself as fast as she could through the skies flying as high as her body would let her so that she could ride the winds. She would draw energy in from all around her to keep her energy levels from dropping, but that still didn't mean that her wings weren't hurting. She would have to rest her wings possible at least a good hour or two before they started fighting just to let the pain ease out of them. she them remembered that Silvera was of course a healer and a masterful one at that. She could probably relieve the soreness in her wings as soon as she got there. When she did arrive, she quickly noticed that she was the first one, other than Silvera, to reach the meeting location. Silvera looked pale, even with her silver scales she wasn't in her full beauty, and it was obvious she was scared. Nira couldn't blame her because she knew exactly what and who they were up against and what she was capable of. After all, it was she that had been that demon's bitch for most of her life and has caused her so much ridicule. She landed next to Silvera, It looks like no one else has arrived yet. She told her moving over to her and giving her a small push to her neck with her muzzle. I know things look bad, but we'll get through it. I promise. she said giving her a gentle soothing, sister-like lick. It was the only thing she could do for her, and in all reality she kept telling herself the same thing just so she wouldn't get took worried or worked up over it. We have to get through this. I have to make it back to Kodak and my eggs. she thought to herself |

Cyclone flew on from the Furikc clan lands. Leaving Sasha behind. Knowing that he could easily be breaking his promise to her by doing this. The promise that he would be there for his children, he wouldn't ever leave them. Yet, he was here, with a huge possibility of dying. The thoughts flew out of his mind as fast as he was flying himself. Now the thought of fighting a beast that can easily be a lot worse than what he actually heard. This was going to be challenging, and painful. He could only imagine the pain that was to come, knowing that there was no way he was leaving this fight un-hurt. The thought never bothered him until now. He knew that the beast would come in contact with him, and that he would most likely die. Although, what was better, being there for his children, or saving their lives even if he dies? I need to stop worrying... I wont die, I wont die... I wont leave them, I will come away from this fight and I will return home... I will be home soon my dear Sasha... I promise... Soon enough he came into veiw of two other dragons. Both he knew from the meeting, the meeting wehre Avalon found out Cyclone was a brother of his. It was Silvera and.. Nira. He started down, taking a deep breath and letting it out, knowing that his worries were now that breath, leaving him only to come back. When he landed, he made sure that they knew he was here. He landed with a thud, trying not to sneak up on them so they didn't see him as a threat. He breathed in more air, catching their scents and seeing them and everything around him. Thankfully he wasn't actually blind... Just not able to use his eyes to see things. Good day to you ladies. I have a feeling that not everyone is here? I sure hope that others come to this. I have been looking forward to this for the longest time. He smiled at them, his eyes showing no emotion, not the fear he felt deep down, not the worry, nothing at all. Although, what could blank eyes like his show in the first place? |

A few yards off, away from her Alphess was Shannon. She had a rabbit in her maw and thought about eating it. She was hungry and needs to keep up her energy before she goes into that volcano. Her heart lurched the wrong way, the thought of Jorthians ran through her mind. Yet she knew she would be fine, she had her energy element that she is quickly mastering. Also she has found a way to upgrade her light armor technique, it took a while and many difficult tries but she managed to figure out a way to not endanger her life so much. Plus this fight is more important to her than her own life. She knelt down and took in the rabbit in a few bites. It wasn't much but it was better to have something. Yet this might be her last meal so she should favor this. Shannon looked at the volcano and remembered the night at the Falls. She snarled at the bitter memories, Typhoon was going to pay. She knew she wasn't strong enough to face him yet, but she wants to get more information on him and everything. Shannon promised herself that she would defeat him, even if it takes her own life she would. The exotic beauty turned and padded to where she left Silvera. Shannon knew that she was a healer, a good one too since her father Neptune had the healing ability and taught her of it ever since she could remember. That was her rank, the healer. It was what she only wanted instead of being a hunter or a scout. Now it all changed, she wanted to become a scout, knowing that it would get her somewhere and be more active. Shannon doesn't know why, its just that she can't stand being a healer anymore. She changed because of Typhoon and she just can't concentrate on just being a healer anymore. By just being a scout didn't suit her much either with her. What she is aiming for is something that she never thought about taking. To become a delta or a beta is what she wants yet she isn't nearly as ambitious as to hurt any of her comrades. Typhoon didn't change her that far. She would rather by eating alive than hurt one of her own. She burst out of the trees and arrived to where Silvera was. She wasn't alone, a purple dragoness was beside her and a bull. Everyone knew who she was, it was Nira. Shannon landed on Silvera's other side. I know things look bad, but we'll get through it. I promise. She turned to look at the two dragonesses. Yeah, we can get through it together. Shannon's eyes were fired up in confidence and determination, she wasn't going to give up no matter what. The dragons would have to kill her to stop her from moving forward. She turned her eyes on the other dragon. Good day to you ladies. I have a feeling that not everyone is here? I sure hope that others come to this. I have been looking forward to this for the longest time. Shannon just nodded to him and looked to the volcano. She hoped she makes it through this though, she did say she would fight to the death on this fight but part of her wishes she was with Avalon. Her cheeks blushed just at the thought of that handsome bull that saved her from a raping pathetic bull. Her heart tightened, she will make it through this, for her dreams, goals and promises. Her black wings struck against her side, only to snap right back open. The light glancing off her ebony colored scales, Reklieve made her way, biding her time. She knew she needed to get their fast, but she prefered to have her energy when she had to help. Angling to the side, she was not one to help, but in this? She was. A Monster was out killing, and she wasn't going to let it live if it meant danger for not only others, but her as well. Besides, it would give her a chance to kill. She would enjoy it. Her very nature was blood. The orb on her chest gleamed brightly, lighting up her chest scales. She growled as she felt the darkness, mastered fully, curropt into her. Knowing its time for use was near. She smiled, she would enjoy this so very much. Her wings thundered at her sides and she looked below her, halting in the air. Eyes locked onto three dragons. She did not fully know these Dragons, let alone remember their name. However she recognized Cyclone, not knowing him well enough though. She didn't care. They would need all the help they could get and she would be willing to help them. Her wings beating at her sides as she kept in the air, she arched her neck and watched below, then closed her left wing, going in that same direction, she slowly glided down on one wing. Closing the right slightly she landed on her hind legs, then her front. Shaking her head from one side to the other. She looked to the three dragons, standing at her full height, her spine erect, she lashed her tail from side to the next, feeling the wind breeze over it. She did not speak. She would keep silent unless they spoke to her. Otherwise, her voice was mere silent. She was not of a clan, she did not know how they would react to that. The Orb in her chest swarmed red with small hints of blackness. the Darkness Magic falling behind to let her focus. She needed to. Her wings pinned tight to her sides, she could feel the wires in her body.. Remembering the night of the virus... Jaws clamped around her neck, slamming her into the floor.. she screamed and jerked, trying to get free of the Monster that held her. But the monster had a name.. And she would not scream it. Pain laced dwn her spine and she finally screamed, shattering the glass of the old sanctuary. She heard the boy, James? Was that his name? She heard him scream her name.. why though? How could he know who she was... Then the bastard child was laughing, walking into her view, he knelt down and spoke, "Ah.. Reklieve... How nice of you to jpin us.." She bared her teeth at him.. He laughed, "Wanna See Sangyne's little rider go mad?" Leave him ALONE! Reklieve screamed at Arek and he smiled, "Never. He is mine. and so are you. With the virus in your veins.. You are forever lost." Reklieve shook her head, clearing the memory.. She could remember it as if it were yesterday..And she would always remember it.. The boy's scream.. It was unearthly.. Something unspoken of. Something she could never bear to hear again. He had been right, the Lecter Family had had enough of pain... And now, she was going to say it, she had said it before, she had finally had... Enough. Just like he had. Reklieve looked up at the Silver colored, seemingly blue, dragoness, Silvera. She paid little attention to Nira and Cyclone, nor to Shannon, but kept them in check in her eyes. She wasn't going to fall for a little trick, she wasn't going to break. Not yet at least. Silvera slowly looked up to Nira as she told her that everything would be just fine, and she promised them that they would all be okay. Silvera wondered if possible Nira had just made a promise that she could not keep. She looked up as a couple more dragons started making their way into the area for them to leave. One of them was Shannon, one of the newest additions to her clan. She herself was a beautiful dragoness, and was definitely a sight to behold. Her heart lurched when she heard that she had been attacked by two different dragons. When she spoke of the first one she was concerned about the clan once again. There was more than just one demon now. When she had heard about the dragon that had tried to rape her though, and heard the description of the dragon, she felt a little relief, but a lot of emotional pain at the same time remembering the day that she had been brutal raped in front of her sister a few years ago. as soon as that thought hit her though, she had another relapse of Zircon, and she didn't need that right now. She shook her head to clear her mind and heard her tell her that we can all get through it together. Thank you, she said looking to the other dragons. There as a dragon in the area that she did no recognize too much, but she didn't say anything. They would need all the help that they could get. She then turned her head as she noticed Cyclone. Cyclone was supposed to be a father soon as well, but Sasha was just one of the other dragons that has disappeared in the recent months. The way everything has gone she truly began to wonder how many, if any of them would make it back home. When she heard him tell them good day, she nodded in return. Indeed Cyclone, it is a good day. Hopefully we can make this day even better by ridding the continent of one less dragon-hunting demons. She told him with a smile on her face. Nira waited there along with Silvera for others to arrive, and as they did, they all did their share of exchanging greetings except for one dragoness. She didn't completely trust the dragoness, but she was one to talk about a dragoness that they weren't sure that they could trust. After all, the demon that they are fighting today was summoned b the same demoness that had possessed her in the past. When Silvera spoke up to them Nira just nodded. When Cyclone made his introduction, Nira made one of her own. Indeed, As Silvera said, It is a good day, though I wish that there was a bit more cloud cover. For once a storm to fly through would be nice for cover. She spoke as she heard Silvera add the bit about the day being better once they rid the lands of one less dragon hunting demon. Agreed. As much as it pains me to admit, none of you would ever be in this mess to begin with if I had never shown up here. On the flip side though, if I had never shown up here, I'd still be completely possessed by that demon Luthicia, and still be being used as a puppet. The very thought of her made Nira's blood boil. She wanted to sink her teeth into the demon's flesh, and return the favor for all the thirty six hundred natural years of pain that she had inflicted on to her. The more she thought about it the more that she wanted to take off and go after her right now. She knew that would be suicide though. She would never be strong enough to fully take her on alone. Not dragon could take her on alone. To try to do so would be completely suicide. I will make her pay for everything that she's done to me... That is not a promise but a guarantee, and apparently to get to her, we'll have to go through them. If that's the case, then so be it!. she spoke aloud a slight rasp forming in her voice. She was infuriated now and was ready to fight anything. |

(I'm going to have Avalon enter for the sake of my posts, and since now he doesn't have a pregnant female to watch, and he has healing and ice. And, when Shannon gets attacked, that is when I was going to have Avalon ask her to be his mate, so they are mates right now) Cyclone nodded when Silvera said that she hoped it would be made better. He decided to keep quiet about the fact that at least one dragon this day would probably die. She seemed out of it enough as he remembered the news slightly, that her mate, the alpha, had died. He had also noticed a dragon that looked slightly familure land by them. He remembered only one thing, that her name was Reklieve. He wondered if Sasha was still even alive. She had dissapeared a while ago. The only thing keeping Cyclone alive and happy was the fact that he was the lead healer of his clan. He wasn't going to die without a fight. He had promised to heal the clan whenever he could. He took his own silent oath when he got into the position. He wasn't about to let any of them down by dying because a simple female went missing. Seeing as to how what happened that night never really was planned, he cared, a lot, but it wasn't the end of the world. He could live without her. He would always have the feelings of wanting her back. He looked around, smiling. He noticed a beautiful female by them, seeming to have something on her mind. Are we ready? ~~~~~Avalon~~~~~ Avalon flew on towards the spot. Silvera and Shannon were already gone. He cursed himself for sleeping in. They were probably ready to leave already. He couldn't even think about staying home while Shannon went out there. He couldn't lose her like he lost Dawn. That would drive him too far over the edge. If she did die, which he knew no one could be as cruel as to do that to such a beautiful dragoness, he wanted to be by her, tell her his feelings all over again like he did that one night. He couldn't bear the thought of Sil coming back stating that she was dead, or too baddly hurt to fly home. He was going to be with her, knowing that he could easily heal her if he needed to. As he got closer, he noticed Silvera, Nira, his half brother Cyclone, Shannon, and another dragon he didn't know. He circled around them, slowly getting lower and lower until he finally neared the ground and landed softly. He nodded towards Cyclone, not any more comfortable knowing that they were parial brothers than the night he was actually told. He also nodded to Silvera and Nira, and eyed the other female, who had an orb in her chest which was glowing. He walked over to Shannon and nuzzled her. He whispered in her ear. {b]I would never be albe to let you come out here alone.[/b] He then turned in a comfortable position, facing the the rest of the group. |

Shannon noticed another dragoness coming down. She did not know her name but when Silvera and Cyclone spotted her their eyes seem to recognize the strange fem. She kept her mouth shut and tried not to pay attention to them, she was already nervous enough about her having a orb on her chest which is down right creepy. The exotic fem was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't hear Nira speak. She reminded herself that she would need to talk to her. She needs to find out who the dragoness is and find her, let her know that her mate was dead. However she did not dare tell that to Silvera, it was bad enough that she knew what happened to her that night. Her whole Clan was basically surprised she wasn't a wreck. She got attacked and nearly killed by a giant wyvern and nearly got raped by a rapist dragon on the same damn night. They were also very impressed that she didn't just lie around depressed, but instead working twice as hard when she got all her energy back. The dragoness blinked and looked back to the other dragons again, forcing her thoughts out of her head and just listen. She can't miss anything they say because it could most likely be a plan to get in and she needs to focus more than anything else. I will make her pay for everything that she's done to me... That is not a promise but a guarantee, and apparently to get to her, we'll have to go through them. If that's the case, then so be it!. At that she fully realized that she missed Silvera's replies to Cyclone and her and Nira. Shannon bit back her growl of frustration, she was always like this when she saw Avalon around and go all fantasy in the head thing. Bad habit, and she needs to stop that, though the saying goes old habits are hard to break. That habit began three years after she met Avalon. Just the thought of him when she had bumped into him, his big muscle body, his warm scent. Shannon was on the verge of drooling when she found herself and gulped the saliva before it leaked out of her lips. Her heart soared when she found Avalon flying down to them. She at least won't be alone when she fights though it would be a high possibility that Avalon would die today. However she believed that he was strong and capable of fighting, he's a good enough fighter to survive these demons. Shannon doesn't want to fight this alone. Well she isn't alone if you count these dragons at her side but still, having Avalon at her side makes her more confident in her abilities. Plus she has been training up to this moment. She had trained hard, and managed to perfect her light armor technique. It's not at all the same light armor she used when that black male tried to rape her. She also just managed to make another technique, yet it's not perfected, its still plainly knew. And she had managed to perfect her other technique, the one that was unstable and could easily backfire on her... the light blast technique. The only problem was because she hasn't mastered her energy magic but she learned how to master it now. Actually she had mastered her energy ability long ago but it was just her confidence and believing in herself that was the problem with her fighting elements. Who knew. Avalon went to her side and nuzzled her. She loved his touch, it sent shivers down her spine but really good ones. Not cold but like a sparking feeling. I would never be able to let you come out here alone. Shannon's heart soared and she nodded to him, looking in his eyes before she too turned back to the others. She stopped all her thoughts about Avalon and everything else and just concentrated on what they are going to do. It was important that she lives on but its also important to fight as hard as she possibly can. color alliance third character Nira Cyclone Shannon Silvera Reklieve Avalon |

Reklieve lifted her gums in a slght snarl, but then it turned into a slightly fearful one. Her fangs and teeth shown as she took one step back. She relaxed a few minutes later. Whatever triggered the fear sent a shiver down her spine. She blinked her eyes, too shy to speak, to catious to cone forward. She took one step infront, her black wings coming over sides, her claws dug into the ground. Tail lashing from side to side as she began to get bored with this. She did not want to rush into this fight. She wanted to make progress. She wanted to hear a plan, to know how they were going to get through this. Of course, problems will come, nothing always goes according to plan. She lurched as her balance went off, too mch anticipation. It made her impatient, and standing around made her angry. She looked to Cyclone, only person she at least renotley knew, but cntinued to keep her distance from the group. She stayed close enough to gear them though. Waiting for her own time to speak. In the meantime, she was good with her own thoughts. Maybe this would change her life. This thing, Jorthian us what she thougt it was called, was no easy creature. It would be hard to kill, and she would need to be focused. If she wasn't, so much could go wrong on her own part, and possibly for the others. In order to work together, you had to think the same. And the only way to think the same, was to know how the others thought. Who they were and why the came to help. Reklieve walked forward till she was among the group. Instead of sitting out in the back like a scared hatchling. She listened, and waited. |

Silvera waited a little bit longer to see if anyone else would show up. When it started looking like no one else was going to come, she let out a sigh. She felt the wind starting to pick up a bit from the south east. That was a problem because they were blowing in the direction that they needed to go. This meant that the would already lose the element of surprise is something didn't change soon. With this beast already having a serious advantage over all of them, it was next to impossible to let him have anymore of one. It looks like we are not going to be able to fly straight there. The winds are against as which will help us get there faster, but at the same time, it will carry our scents to him. We will need to find a way for get out of the winds once we start getting closer and then try to figure out our point of attack. Nira, you been inside this volcano, you should know what it looks like on the inside. Any ideas on where he would be? Silvera asked her. Nira waited for Silvera wondering what she was waiting for. Was she having second thoughts? If so she didn't question them as she had them of her own, but she knew that they couldn't turn back now. For the safety of these lands they had to do this. She heard others asking if everything was ready to go and she looked at Sil. She was ready to go. The more they sat here and thought about it, the more she didn't want to go. She remembered her first two encounters with the damn thing. When she heard Silvera ask her about the Volcano knowing that she had been there before, Nira looked at her kind of dumbfounded. You're kidding right Sil? That thing is a living active volcano that exploded while Zil'caron was still inside of it while we were there The entire internal layout of that volcano is going to be completely different now! To this day I still have not figured out how he survived that damn thing! She told her somewhat raising her voice not in anger, but in fear. Just then she heard it asked again if there was anything else, and much to her relief and dismay Silvera shook her head telling all of them that it was now time to leave. The winds were picking up even more, and she could see clouds, heavy storm clouds starting to move in. They wouldn't affect her too much with her energy magic, but she wasn't sure about everyone else. |

Cyclone stood there as Avalon arrived, going over to Shannon. His paws kneaded the ground, ready to be off, and ready to get Avalon and Shannon away from each other, a bit jealous of his brother having such a good mate, when he had to rape a female before they saw how much they liked each other, only for her to disappear. He shook his head slightly, taking the image of everything out of his mind. He took in another breath, finding the place of everyone, and noticing the glow on Reklieve's chest. Interesting enough, he looked a bit in her direction, taking another breath of air as she flew into his mind, her looks, and the chest. It was very interesting, at least to him. He looked back towards Sil as she began to speak, as the wind began to pick up going in the worst direction at this time. He closed his eyes as Nira began to speak, the fear in her voice only making the fear Cyclone could smell more powerful. His own picture of her, showed a purple female dragoness scared out of her mind. He opened his blank icy eyes, not liking that image. What if we fly far away from the volcano, and circled around if the wind doesn't change? Going against the wind might be hard, especially with it picking up, and showing signs of a storm, but it would still give us the element of surprise. Wouldn't it? He stared straight at Silvera, as if he actually could see out of his eyes, not exactly knowing what he was talking about himself. Avalon watched as Cyclone kneaded the ground after noticing him and Shannon. A smirk crossed his face for a split second before he turned his attention back to the whole group. He watched as Silvera asked Nira if she knew where the Jorthian would be, and Nira asked if she was kidding, that the volcano erupted while they were inside, changing the look of the volcano. What if the volcano goes off while we are inside? He then got an idea, knowing that if they all went in, then they would probably be screwed. Shouldn't we plan some things out a bit more? I mean, I haven’t heard anything on someone staying outside of this thing in case someone got hurt. If we all go in, then we can all get hurt. We need a designated healer; we need someone who knows how to take care of his venom, someone to go get help if we really need it. We can't just go in there and fight, expecting to win. I volunteer to be the healer, not knowing energy but healing and ice. He looked around him, knowing that they were all prepared to leave, and he just gave them something to think about, probably stalling them even more. |

Shannon noticed Cyclone look at her in a odd sense of way. Avalon noticed and just smiled. She blinked and just looked away, flicking the pressure between brothers away. Instead she focused on listening to everyone. Silvera turned and asked the purple dragoness. At once Nira turned on Silvera. You're kidding right Sil? That thing is a living active volcano that exploded while Zil'caron was still inside of it while we were there The entire internal layout of that volcano is going to be completely different now! To this day I still have not figured out how he survived that damn thing! Shannon bit back saying that she agrees with Nira but her head nodded to its bitter betrayal. The thought of it erupting in her mind while they were inside send shivers down her spine. The Jorthians would have the advantage over it, its their home they could easily get out in time before them. Especially if its a maze in those mountains. Shannon was about to say what she thought they should do when Cyclone turned and asked. What if we fly far away from the volcano, and circled around if the wind doesn't change? Going against the wind might be hard, especially with it picking up, and showing signs of a storm, but it would still give us the element of surprise. Wouldn't it? She thought about it in her mind and the thought of it didn't suit well with her. She turned to Cyclone. But wouldn't that leave us exhausted? About time we get to the fighting most of us would be too tired to really put up a fight. We would most likely lose with surprise or no surprise. She didn't mean to sound negative but it was facts. If they went against the wind most of the time it would only tire them out. When they finally get to the fighting they may not have the energy to really put up a fight. Plus these aren't dragons, these are demons that have deadly acids that would kill them in minutes. They also don't have backup, going in there, tired would just be suicide. Not long Avalon came up with an idea. She listened to Avalon and blushed at his handsome voice. Hell, she hoped she wouldn't be fighting beside him the whole time, she would be fighting two battles then. She blinked it away and turned to him, her eyes concerned. Wait, your not the only healer here you know. There is Silvera and me that have healing magic. Shannon turned back to the group with her own idea. I don't think going in the volcano is a good idea at all. I'm not saying we should give up. Shannon took a step forward and shook her head her eyes angry just at the thought of going back. Hell no, I'd rather die to Jorthians than turn back. But you know, those beasts would have more of an advantage in there. They live there, they would know every trick. And what's worse we don't. If we go in, it would be like raising our heads to let them slit our throats. Shannon felt her whole body go weak, truth to be told she never really did this before. Tell exactly what was on her mind and basically taking command on a situation. She doesn't want to lead these dragons, she would let Silvera have it but her voice and eyes were held strong in a strength she never knew she had. I think instead of fighting in the volcanoes we should try and flush out the monsters and take them to an area, ambush them. Like one of us or two of us goes inside and be the bait. Shannon hoped that they would at least think about the idea. She had no hopes that they would take her plan but she just wanted at least them to think about it some more. They want to win but in order to do that they need to have a good plan. |

Reklieve cocked her head to Shannon's idea and finally spoke, seeing her own use of this, No one will have to go in to be bait... As it is said, it is dangerous in the volcanoe, go in there and you might die. And the Jorthian could catch you... And no one here wants to die. Not today at least. She looked to each of the group in turn, and added, Instead of having any of us as Bait... I have mastered Darkness magic. I can make a decoy. The decoy can go in as bait, and return, hopefully with the Jorthian chasing after it. Then, She looked at Shannon, We can ambush them. With all of us ready... More strength instead of having to out run the brutes. Reklieve fell silent, letting them digest the words. She didn't care if they excepted the idea or not, but it would be a lot better than having one of them go in and risk the chance of getting killed. Sometimes it was not a good to be a hero. True to Semper Fi, but this was far from a "Hero" plan. Reklieve looked to Silvera, her eyes calm, but etched with seriousness. She was intending on letting no one die here, if she could prevent it. She would. Her wings folded tight to her side as the black darkness of her scales caught the light, she felt the wind ruffle through her, it was umpleasant, and held the stench of death. |

Dragon of the masters

Silvera flinched when she heard Nira remind her of what happened to Zil'caron inside that volcano, and had to admit herself that she wasn't sure how he had survived. He mentioned that it as his mastery of fire magic that allowed him to escape what should have been his molten grave. She was grateful though. He had been more than valuable to the clan already helping the clan with two births including her own and helping get them back to the tree. She shook her head. She was starting to get worried. Their eggs hadn't hatched yet either, and looking like if they survived were going to be like her own. She listened to everyone else mention their ideas. They were all in agreement that they should come up with a plan first, that they needed some sort of strategy. The one dragon that had troubled eyes with no pupils had mentioned that they could fly around to the back. It would be against the winds but they would keep the element of surprise. Shannon then mentioned though that it would leave them too tired to fight. She was right, they would need to take the quickest route there. When she also mentioned that someone should go in as bait and lure it out, she also thought it was a good idea. She didn't want anyone to risk that though, not where they couldn't be attended to by her or Avalon who had also volunteered to be a healer. This still doesn't do any good though, we have to have fire, and I don't know what they have. she thought to herself. I agree. Planning something out would be better than going in head first, and I agree that it would be better to bring him to us. she admitted. When she heard the other dragoness in the area tell them that no one would have to go in. That she had mastered darkness and that they could use a decoy. I like that idea, it keeps everyone safe, at least for now until the fighting starts. She told everyone. Nira was laying there waiting for all the planning to stop. She just wanted to get this over with. That was the only thing she cared about getting to the beast, and destroying it before it could do any more damage. When she heard the bait and decoy idea, she just shook her head, It won't work. It's a wonderful idea, but it won't fool him. He's smarter than that. The only thing that will make him come out is live prey. She told her, and everyone else. Before we go into this, there is one thing that you need to know. We are going up against a being that was created by a demon that once lived in this very body. I know how intelligent she is, and I know how she does things. I also unfortunately remember every single act of evil that she's forced this body to enact on. She would not make the Jorthians mindless brutes. This one did after all lure us in to that Volcano to begin with. she spoke with a pause. No, a decoy won't work. Live bait, is our only option. And that is why I'm going to be the bait. It's my fault we're in this mess for even coming to this land, so it's only right that I be the one to go in. Not to mentioned that I possess the only type of magic that this dragon is weak against and that's energy. If I get caught, I'm the most likely one to be able to defend myself, at least of those who are here that I know. I can't say anything about you two. she mentioned motioning to the female and the male not knowing he was blind. |

Cyclone nodded as Shannon went against his thought with a perfect explination. He was just glad his father wasn't there, that wrong thought would have brought a beating to him. He listened as more ideas came, of luring the beast out. He looked over to Reklieve as she said she could send in a decoy, but then Nira said it wouldn't work, that the Jorthian would only come out with live prey. She then said she would be the bait. His mind screamed no, yet he didn't know why. He knew energy, and no one seemed to care about his presence unless they were hurt. How cared about is this female? "I can't say anything about you two." He could smell her scent a bit more after she said that, and could tell she motioned towards him and someone else. No! You have eggs and a loving mate Nira. You can't risk it, I heard about your eggs and heard they were beautiful. That gave Cyclone perfect reasoning. I know energy, and my mate dissapeared. The only thing I have to offer to my clan is me being blind, and my healing. There are plenty of other healers, and I wouldn't be missed if something went wrong bringing the beast out. I am the perfect candidate for it. I don't need to see to know where the edges of the volcano are, and ask any other clanmate of mine and they will tell you it's like I have perfect vision, even in a place I don't know. He stared at Nira with his blind eyes. Not wanting her to go in. Not because she was female, but because she had family. He was sure her mate didn't want her here in the first place, fighting this beast. But, his mate wouldn't be able to stop him if he had a chance of revenge at someone who caused him so much turmoil. Avalon listened to everyone talking. All at least agreeing with him that they should plan things out before attacking. He looked back at Shannon when she mentioned he wasn't the only healer. Yeah, but what could ice possibly do against that beast? I can't touch him, and I don't think ice can harm him. But I can help heal. He listened on as the other female mentioned using darkness to make a decoy as bait, a idea that saved a dragon from Shannon's idea. Nira denied it though, saying that it would only come out for live prey, and that she would be the live prey. He found himself blurting out that she had eggs and a caring mate. he had heard about two dragons going into labor at the same time, and one of them was Nira, which ment she had to have had a loving mate. Or else more gossip would be going around about a rapist. He didn't deny it when Cyclone mentioned that he wouldn't be missed. Avalon barely knew him, so if he did end up dying, what loss would it be to him? Someone else that had no one that cared for them. What was being proposed was a good idea, and Cyclone did seem to find his way around the day Avalon was almost killed. But, he knew that Cyclone could easily be denied himself. No one liked to send blind dragons into places like that, no matter how well they could see. |

Shannon waited for their reactions to her idea. She herself admitted she didn't like it either, she doesn't like the idea of someone going in and get that thing out when there might be a huge chance of getting caught and killed. I agree. Planning something out would be better than going in head first, and I agree that it would be better to bring him to us. Shannon nodded, glad that her idea was sort of good. It was much better than aimlessly going inside and attack. No one will have to go in to be bait... As it is said, it is dangerous in the volcano, go in there and you might die. And the Jorthian could catch you... And no one here wants to die. Not today at least. To her surprise the odd other dragoness finally spoke. She was glad that no one would have to die if they go in there and get caught. Yet how would they be able to do that? And what's worse it annoyed her a bit when she said no one here wants to die not today. Hell why are they here then? Going in this fight the fate spins and you don't know which direction it would take. Shannon wondered why she was even here if she thought that. Instead of having any of us as Bait... I have mastered Darkness magic. I can make a decoy. The decoy can go in as bait, and return, hopefully with the Jorthian chasing after it. Then, she looked at Shannon. We can ambush them. With all of us ready... More strength instead of having to out run the brutes. Shannon bristled but didn't say anything to it as Silvera added. I like that idea, it keeps everyone safe, at least for now until the fighting starts. Shannon was about to say she agreed when... It won't work. It's a wonderful idea, but it won't fool him. He's smarter than that. The only thing that will make him come out is live prey. Nira burst out. Shannon blinked and listened as Nira went on. Shannon thought about that and shivered just at the thought of having a demon inside you. Nira finished, looking at the blind dragon and the female that suggested using a decoy. Shannon almost lost her balance to that. Why didn't she add her in, she never met Shannon before. Not even Silvera knows her full power. She wished Silvera knew about her own abilities, maybe then they could see that she could do this. However Shannon was more worried for Nira than anything. She can't bare the thought Nira dead and her children growing up with no mother, just like she was never raised by her own mother, that died before she was even hatched. She went to tell her that she would go when Avalon blurted. No! You have eggs and a loving mate Nira. You can't risk it, I heard about your eggs and heard they were beautiful. She turned to him, didn't realize that Cyclone had spoke. Shannon nodded in agreement. Shannon didn't believe that this was what he was meant for. And of course Silvera is not going to let him actually do it, if they let him go they don't have any right to call themselves dragons by sending a blind dragon to a lair of demons. The exotic colored dragoness stared and looked at Silvera. Your not actually going to let him go into that place are you? She asked, but continued without waiting for an answer to her question. If anyone should go it should be me. I have energy, fire and I'm a master at healing. She looked at Nira, and you can't go just because you blame yourself for what happened on the things you had no control on. Besides, you have to stay alive for your children, they should not be raised without there mother. She said those last few words with powerful emotions. Shannon turned back to her alphess. I'm not afraid to die and I don't really have anything to lose... She paused and her eyes sad when she thought if she died she would lose all her dreams and she would not have Avalon with her. Yet she gained her strength, her eyes blazing like green fire in determination, a determination that can't be reasoned with easily. Besides, do any of you know how to get away from it safely? I lived all my life able to getaway from dangers like that. I know what to do when being chased and even if I'm caught I can defend myself well. Like Nira said energy is the only real element its weak against and I have it and if I get hurt I can use healing. So no matter how you look at it I'm the best bait you can get. Besides, she looked at Nira, I think if I really manage to piss it off I can get it out. It doesn't matter if its willing to or not. |

Reklieve needed to wait to respond to Nira. She was keeping her calmness in sate, as best she could. She was chaotic at times... Then she heard the others, and of how Nira had hatchlings of her own... Reklieve growled, If you have children, then no you cannot go in there. What would it do to the children? It may, or may not, be your fault, but you must think about those who love you, before you go in where you can be killed. Reklieve looked at Shannon when she spoke, but kept her own maw shut. She knew nothing of Shannon, and was not about to say she did. She was simply watching, listening, and waiting. the orb on her chest swirling with blackness as if death its very self was embedded inside of it. The orb was her heart.. The only thing keeping her alive physically. Her tail swayed lightly from side to side, her wings closed to tight to her sides as she felt a calm patience settle over her. She watched. Jaws clenched tightly, she looked at the sky, wondering, if they were so close to them, why in the world was no one watching the skies? Or the ground? Careless...? She thought to herself, Or do they think the Jorthian do not know we are here... Either is a good excuse. Reklieve did not want anyone dieing here, not if she could help it in anyway possible. She was no healer... But she knew strategy, and they had none. Not yet. |

Dragon of the masters

It was starting to get late, well later than she wanted it to be. She did not want to fight the beast at night and they were long at a decently long flight to just get there. With the way everything was going though, it looked like it was going to be even longer before they left for the volcano. They had absolutely no plan other to just go and fight, and the only thing that would accomplish would be getting themselves killed. The bait Idea was the best strategy that she heard so far, even though she absolutely hated it. She didn't want any of them to go into that place. She would never forgive herself if they didn't make it back to the ambush point. When she heard Nira say that she would go though, she almost lost it, and apparently so did a couple of others. The blue dragon seemed to nail it best when he said that she had her two beautiful eggs to look after not to mention Kodak. He didn't word it like that, but he was right, and others agreed with him. When he said that he should go in her place. Silvera shook her head immediately, forgetting that the dragon was blind until after she had done it. Shannon asked if she was really going to let him do that, and once again she shook her head. No, I am not doing that, and I think it's pretty much unanimous. No one is going in there alone Like the female had mentioned. she said turning to her. I don't like referring to you like that but I don't know your name. she voiced turning back. This way if that things starts gaining on someone, the other can distract it. Or maybe even... she started as she heard a loud screeching sound. Her eyes went wide as looked to the sky. She didn't see anything, but she heard the screech again, and then saw the beast start a dive through the clouds. Fly! NOW! she yelled pushing with her talons to get into the air. Lead him away from the clan! she yelled as she tried to speed towards him to try to get him to chase her. that plan backfired though as the beast adjusted to her line and caught her in his maw causing her to let out a screeching roar of pain of her own. She felt him grab her neck but as soon as he did, he let out another loud screech as she felt an intense heat come over him ans scorching her wings. he let her free from her maw but she dropped from the sky and landed hard beneath him. Another dragon landed beside her, and she'd recognize his colors anywhere. It was Zil'caron. He wasn't very large, but he was very, very strong. She was too weak to talk, and she could already feel the venom taking its toll on her. It was injected straight into her neck. She would die very quickly if that wasn't taken out of her. She could feel the blood leaving her neck and shoulder where the beast had bitten her, and they were deep too. She was lucky, his fangs didn't sever the major artery in her neck, but she was still losing a lot of blood. The scent of the blood, and the milky black substance stained her neck and the blood that was coming from it. Help...... me........ Niradana was laying there listening what everyone was saying about her having eggs and a mate, and that there was no way in hell that she would be let go in there, she sighed. Were they going to let her do anything at all now? What was the point of even being here now. She listened as Silvera started talking about once again who to send in and that they should be sending two dragons in there, one to back up the first one. She had to admit that was a good idea. All that was shattered though by a screech that almost made Nira's heart stop. This close to the clan!? she thought to herself hoping she was just hearing things. She heard it again though and saw Silvera leap into the sky instantly as it what she feared dove down. She was trying to lead it away. It anticipated her and caught her in it's maw, and clamped around her neck. SILVERA!!!!!!! she yelled launching a solid beam of energy only to see the beast erupt in flames as a black dragon swooped in as well. He wasn't very large, but was strong, and Nira knew exactly who he was. Get your filthy may off of our Alphess! she heard him yell as he landed next to her. Nira took to the skies. She would have to distract it so that Zil'caron could get that poison out of her. If that didn't get taken out of her immediately, it was going to kill her, when where she was bit. She fired another beam of energy trying to get the beast's attention. Zil'caron was getting worried. Their eggs hadn't hatched and he was concerned that they wouldn't. They had already lost one egg, he did not want to lose anymore. He knew that the Silvera was going out to fight the beast that was causing them all hell. He was worried about that was well. The clan was in enough pain with the loss of Zircon, they could not lose her too. This clan would be devastated if they lost her because everyone in this clan loved her. She was an amazing Alphess that was well respected, and had already been though hell and back for this clan. Now she was doing so again. He heard a massive screech though and his head shot up. He had no idea what the hell that was, but when he heard it again he shot up and moved to the edge of his den. There was something big very, very close to clan lands, but that wasn't what scared him. He knew others would have heard it, and when he heard a third very different roar of pain, he knew exactly who it was. Sil! SIL! he yelled diving from the den and around the tree. That was the first time he had seen the Jorthian up close, but he didn't care right now. He had only one thought on his mind, and that was to help his alphess. When he got there he saw her lodged in his maw and sprayed the beast with his acidic fire. He knew a bit had hit Silvera on her wings, and he was sorry for that, but right now he needed to get her out of that beast mouth. Get your filthy may off of our Alphess! he yelled as he landed next to her. I need anyone that can heal over here now! Everyone else, do what you can to keep that thing away from us while I remove the poison she's been infected with. Now is not the time for questions so please! he yelled as he immediately summoned his fire magic and started cleansing her wounds of the poison and started running it through her veins. He knew it would hurt her, but nothing like this poison would. He saw what it did to Aries. He did not want that to happen to her. Edited by Silvera, Jul 1 2010, 09:52 PM.

Cyclone growled as dragons objected to him going in. Just because I am blind in the eyes doesn't mean I can't see in some way! He snapped, hating how any dragon he came across would never let him do anything dangerous because he was blind. He stood there as other spoke, caring less about what they said anymore, wanting to just get there and to fight the monster. He did start paying close attention when Silvera said that no one would be going in alone. He was about to speak up, to say that he would be one dragon, when a horrible screech filled the air. The screech then sounded again as Cyclone's black world transformed into a huge black creature as his nose picked up the horrible stench. He stared blindly into the sky as he heard wingbeats and Silvera telling them to fly. He then heard her scream to lead him away from the clan and took a nice breath, his mouth open as the scene was painted in his mind. He saw Silvera as she got caught in the beasts mouth. He felt a blast of heat as another dragon entered, throwing flame at the beast. It was small, but seemed strong. Cyclone didn't know this male, but it didn't matter. All that mattered now was that the beast was there, not in the volcano. He kept his mouth slitely open, breathing in to make sure he didn't miss anything, like he could see perfectly. Cyclone watched Silvera drop, already picking himself off the ground towards her. He remembered what he was taught in the clan, after this Jorthain first showed up and news of how to heal the venom, how to heal, and sotth the pain from it. He could hear Zil'caron fly over to Silvera, telling everyone that knows healing to head over. He landed, listening closley to what was happening. His clear blue eyes shined, the missing pupils obvious. Zil'caron had already sent the burning fire, which he knew would be best if chased by cool water. He channeled his water and healing together, slowly sending it into Silvera's body after Zil'caron's fire, healing the veins and cooling them from the fire. He noticed holes in Silvera's wings, looking like acid hit them. He started to heal them as the water continued to follow Zil'caron's fire. Avalon stayed silent as other things were said. He growled slightly at Shannon saying she was the best to go in, but was not about to object. He knew Shannon was strong, and really wanted to object, but, that would mean he cares a lot about her, and thinks she is too weak to take care of herself. He was not about to make it seem like he thought of her as weak, nor give the impression he objected because she was female. As more of this went on, it got darker and he heard the screech that everyone else had, and most dreaded. This was not planned, and the Jorthian was the one that had the element of surprise. He was about to lift himself, knowing that they were too close to his clan, when Silvera flew towards it. He let out a roar as the beast went towards her, going for her neck. He swiveled his head as he saw Zir'caron flying towards them, shooting fire at the Jorthian. He saw Silvera fall, and knew he wouldn't be able to catch her, so instead, took off, ignoring Zir'con telling everyone who could heal to come over, knowing that it would only leave the other female and possibly Nira. Both him and Shannon knew healing, and Cyclone was already over and helping. Weak against healing... I can hurt him with my ice and not touch him. I just have to be careful. He thought to himself as he got closer, getting his ice ready and shooting shards at the beast. After those shards hit the beast, leaving only very small cuts, he immedietely channeled his healing magic into the wounds. He flew around the Jorthian, trying to dodge everything around him. He flew into the ground as he dodged it's tail, and knew they were stil way too close to the clanlands. All of that happened in a few seconds. He got back up slowly and jumpped into the air flying close enough to Nira, Shannon, and Reklieve for them to hear him, but far enough away as to not exactly have it's attention fully on them. We still need to get it away from the clanlands! I don't know if Cyclone has it all under control over there or not, but I don't know what can be done. He roared to them, not asking for help because he knew they were already getting ready to either help him or Cyclone and Zil'caron. |

Shannon waited for their answer. No, I am not doing that, and I think it's pretty much unanimous. No one is going in there alone Like the female had mentioned. Shannon dug her claws in the earth in frustration as Silvera continued. I don't like referring to you like that but I don't know your name. she voiced turning back. This way if that things starts gaining on someone, the other can distract it. Or maybe even... Shannon started to see her point in it. However right when she was about to say more there was this horrible screech. Then there was another. She looked up at the sky and her blood turned cold as she saw her first Jorthian. Fly! NOW! Shannon unfolded her wings and watched at Silvera took off, trying to lead it away. Lead him away from the clan! Shannon raised her wings to take off when the beast caught Silvera and had its jaws in her neck. NO! Shannon cried in shock. SILVERA!!! Nira yelled. And took off as Shannon followed her, tempting to help as well. Yet before they could do anything to help, the beast was shot in flames. It dropped Silvera as she landed on the ground limply. Get your filthy may off of our Alphess! She watched the newcomer, remembering that his name was Zil'caron. She never met him but she knew that he mastered fire really well. She had and did hope he would teach her some techniques. Now wasn't the time though. I need anyone that can heal over here now! Everyone else, do what you can to keep that thing away from us while I remove the poison she's been infected with. Now is not the time for questions so please! Shannon was about to volunteer when Cyclone flew down and started helping Zil'caron. She figured they won't need her and instead turned to go help the others fight off the Jorthian. Nira shot another beam and Avalon started firing ice shards at it followed by his ice magic. She remembered it can also be hurt by fire as well as energy and thought about her technique she had mastered. Shannon took off flying closer and closer to the thing. It's head twisted back and forth to the others as they continued to hit it. It used its tail to try and hit Avalon but he dodged it. Shannon snarled. We still need to get it away from the clanlands! I don't know if Cyclone has it all under control over there or not, but I don't know what can be done. The exotic beauty snarled and flew closer to the demon, dodging its attacks. She let out a huge roar, gaining its attention. It laid its eyes on her as she charged to its head. Shannon watched as it opened its mouth. She narrowed her eyes, shot a ball of light that she called the light blast technique. It exploded in the things mouth and it roared in pain. She turned and got away from its raging claws. Shannon twisted and shot three more light blasts that exploded on its back in white flames. She flew away a little and shot another light blast on its butt. Come on you stupid demon! She roared as she flew around it. Chase me! Or am I too fast for your big ass. It roared and started to chase after her, she flew away from the Clanlands and where Silvera was. The beast was catching up to her quickly though. She looked back, it was only inches away from her tail. Shannon gasped, as flew down to the trees, too late it hit her with its claws and she crash landed. Before she did she summoned thousands of energy made fireflies and went at the beast's eyes. Blinded and distracted it too crash landed. Firefly technique, not a offense attack but more of a defense, they can distract the enemy by messing with its sight, giving you time for attacks that would need time to charge up. Shannon crashed, slid with earth going over her, she slammed against a tree and she lay there with her side slashed from that beast's claws. She cried in pain as it pulsed and blood dripped down. Immediately she focused her healing magic on the wound, trying to think on the exact healing remedy for the poison. She is one of her Clans healers so she should know what it was. Shannon grabbed a large stick and clamped her maw on it as she summonded her fire magic and put it on her wounds. She whined and bit down hard, she was so busy that she barely noticed the Jorthian that got back to its feet. Shannon was wide open for an attack and she wasn't in no state to get away on her own. color alliance Third character Nira Cyclone Shannon Silvera Recklieve Avalon Zil'caron |

Baring her teeth as the screech reached her earsm she reared back and lunged into the air, she watched the scene unfold, Growling as her locked onto the Beast afore her, she shot forward as Silvera was somewhat in safety, not bothering in telling her her name. No time for it. Lunging forward as She Shannon attempt at distracting the beast, Reklieve followed suit in help. She ascended in the sky, then dove downward near the beast's side, her tail lashed to her right side as he was on that side and her tail lashed into his side. She jerked to the left in time in case he chose to lash at her and then dove down, under him and to the side that Shannon was on. Wings thundering from side to side, she spiraled upward, her jaws opening as she summoned her dark Magic, the heat rose in her throat, but instead of brillaint cores of orange and red fire, came the darkness of a shadow fire. Blazing around the creature, doing no harm as she could see, but a good enough distraction to keep it off of Silvera. Her wings twisted and pivoted in her sockets as she kept moving, her maw closed as she dove down, wings thundering, she growled and looked at the beast, snapping her wings open she leveled out. She looked down to the others, then focused her gaze on the Jorthian. She looked to Shannon and then back to the Jorthian. Her mind set and focused, the orb in her chest swirled with a dark color, a taint of blood set in it. It was like staring into an abyss. Reklieve was pissed, but focused. Perfectly Focused. Her wings flared as she cracked her jaws open and screeched loudly at the creature. Her tail lashing from side to side as she narrowed her eyes on it and watched it's every move... Ready to lunge out of it's way should it attack her, and ready to help anyone else it may choose to attack next. |
