Aquaria waited for Abraxas to stopped seizing and then she went over to his body and carefully put it on her back as best she could at least enough to where she could move him off of the hard floor and on to the soft grass. Everything had been going right up to that point. Aquaria had finally found someone that she was wanting to spend a lot of time with and that wanted the same for her. She had found someone who could very well be something a lot more than just her friend, but at least she hoped, the mate she had been looking for.

As she looked at his soft, charcoal black body laying lifeless after the seizure, she thought about things that needed to be done for him. He would need to eat so she would need to hunt for him, and he would need water as well. she knew that she would need to at least cut back on her water intake just a little bit so that she wouldn't have too many accidents, but she wasn't really worried right now. She would do as Abraxas said, just carry on with whatever they were doing. She couldn't help but wonder though, if he's ever want to be with her again if they did become mates and she had an accident while they were in session.

She shook her head. She didn't need to be thinking about that right now. The only thing that would accomplish is making her feel scared about the experience and also only heighten her heat. She brought him over to his bed and look to see that her bed was a little bit away from his, but not much, or at least, the special absorbent bed that he had made for her. It was only a foot or two away from his, but she still felt it was too far. She understood though. He probably had no intentions of sleeping in her accidents that she had over night.

She used her water magic to pull up some cool drinking water, and used her talon to carve a well for it in the floor. I hop he doesn't mind... she though as she filled the ridge with water. Looking around the cavern, she noted a couple spots where they could store some food for once he woke up. She wouldn't hunt too far in advance though. She wanted him to have it as fresh as possible. She was getting a little tired though and she was needing some rest. She gave Abraxas a couple licks on his snout and laid on the special bed for her and went to sleep hoping that she wouldn't make it smell too bad by morning.

The swirling blackness around him seemed endless; no escape, no breath, no light. But the swirling blackness turned into images, into a strange dream he was confused by. His heart beat fast, trying to keep up with the events of this dream he was about to experience. What he knew was going to happen, he knew not of. Everything seemed hazy, blank, like sand had coated his eyes over and over again to make him blind.

There was his father, looking much like him but much different in size. His eyes were colder than what it used to be like, being hardened by being gone all the time and being caught up in the dangerous encounters with strangers, scouting the area. There wasn't much love in his expression, but he looked to be encountering a self thinking problem, probably fighting over the emotions of seeing his son. Abraxas felt himself as a young child, just starting in the phase where he would fight out on his own every day.

At first, Abraxas thought his father was going to say something loving, asking what he'd been up to while he'd been gone for two months out on a scouting mission. But there were no words. Instead, he turned his back on Abraxas with a disgusted look on his face, not looking back as he took to the air, heading away from the clanlands. He knew that this was a memory.

His mother came over, telling him to go back in the den for the night. All Abraxas did was stand there, staring into the distance as his mother pulled him into the den. There was no comfort in his mother's tugging; they were abrupt, violent jerks, like she didn't care too much about his well being.

Even as he dreamed, he felt the warm tears slide away from his closed eyes, dreaming about the harsh reality of his past. His whole body was hot, feeling like it was on fire. His mind went on with the nightmare, going on to the next day as he went out on his own again into the woods, training and fighting with his claws against a tree. There was no love in his jabs; they were pure hate for the life he had, how lonely he was, and how he should have been treated. He didn't deserve any of them.

He would always have nightmares like these, all very heart wrenching, heart ache for the life he wished he had. This was the only thing that seperated himself from the buff, mighty Abraxas he seemed to be on the outside.

His eyes wrenched open, bloodshot from the tears that soaked his snout and the mossy bed beneath him. He woke to comfort of his bed, but his heart fell. He dreamed of a beautiful dragoness meeting him on the beach, and she actually came to his den. He remembered the way he felt in his dream, how he loved the dragoness so much. Oh yeah... he remembered the problem she had, and how they were so alike.

He lifted his head up briefly, feeling lonely again until his eyes landed on the blue lump on the moss bed... So it all wasn't a dream. It was all very real.

Abraxas was about to smile, but his current condition reminded him of how he was. He could feel his fever was really high, almost making him want to fall asleep again. Chills rocked his body. Sweat was forming on his scales. His breathing was labored.

Tears came back to his eyes. He felt like a wreck and there wasn't much to do about it. Aquaria's presence made him feel great, but he remembered she wasn't that skilled at healing. There had to be something to stop the pain he was experiencing, to cease the sickness that followed every seizure. This one would be worse than the last one, but at least she was here to help him.

His throat and mouth felt full of cotton, along with his empty stomach. The seizure always took a lot out of him, but at this point, he couldn't do much about it in his condition. Aquaria appeared to be asleep and he didn't want to wake her peaceful figure.

It was dark, and the storm was starting to roll in. It was much stronger than she had anticipated that it would be and now she was struggling to get everyone beneath the waters surface to the underwater dens to safety. Amira had started helping her, but Aquaria told her to get beneath the surface before she got hurt, that she would handle getting everyone to safety since it was her mistake that put everyone in danger to begin with.

It was taking longer than she had expected. Everyone in the clan was spread out around the mountain and she had to go through den by den. There were a lot of dens in the mountain and she knew it would take a while to make sure that everyone was out, but she wasn't expecting the storm to move in as quickly as it had. It had caused her many problems already after she had misread the intensity of the storm.

Right as she noticed that the dens were now completely empty darkness had fallen around them, and the winds and the lightning were now constant. the hurrican was now in full force and she was caught in the middle of it. She knew however though that she only needed to get under the surface of the water in order to be safe, and all the dens were now empty and everyone else was now below the surface.

As she started heading down the side of the mountain, she felt the winds starting to pick up. She knew that this could be a problem, and no sooner did the thought leave her mind than it was that a large gust of wind caught her and slammed her into the side of the mountain bashing her skull against the hard rocky surface. She couldn't do anything but wait for everything to stop as she felt herself roll down the side of the mounting feeling every sharp protruding rock sink through her scales into her flesh as she fell even in her most private of places.

She felt herself hit the water, but that was the last thing she felt until she woke up with everyone around her, staring at her. She had been completely healed and now that she had woke up, everyone around her was relieved, at least of that moment. She no sooner got up to take a step when she heard a splattering sound and then someone commenting to her that she couldn't wait to do that until she got to her den. She could feel something splattering against her legs but didn't know what the other dragon was talking about until she turned around and saw the amber liquid flowing from her
without even knowing that it was happening. This terrified her, and told the healers to look at it.

When they did, she didn't like the answer that she received. They had found that one of the rocks that she had landed on, the one that she felt go through her lower area, had severed some nerves and that it appeared that they were the ones that led to her bladder making it now uncontrollable. The worst part about hearing them talk was when they said that they couldn't fix it, that no one in the clan could heal nerves. When she heard that, her heart sank. She knew that she would be stuck like this for a while now, but she was determined to not let it get to her.

Over time though, her friends started getting more and more scarce, and she had seen her sister in so long that she couldn't remember. The only ones that still even came to talk to her was Amira who had moved in with he to help her as much as she could with the problem and the alphas. It was a helpful thought, Amira moving in with her, but there wasn't really much she could do. She did start wetting herself though on purpose every morning right after Aquaria woke up to try to make her feel better.

It was a mood point because at some point during each day she would have another one in front of someone who would always look at her with a cold look. It may have never been intentional, but it still hurt never the less and especially when they always conveniently had something else to do right afterward. As time went on, her self-esteem kept getting lower and lower, and with each passing year, her body had started to remind her that she was still mateless, and that she was a female and that she had a certain job that she was supposed to do other than being the betess of the clan. It was her job to help the population grow being a female, and she wanted to have young of her own eventually, but after each season came and past with no one even coming close to her, she gave up on that part of her life.

Her dream continued as she lay there restlessly. The dream was a constant reminder of what she had lived through her entire life after the storm. The pain and agony of having everyone in the clan slowly turning away from you because you had a problem. She knew that this was a dream though, because she had found someone that was like her, that also had a problem, and that had shown affection for her. Who in their right mind would care about her? A dragon that couldn't do anything but embarrass them if they were found with her.

She dreamed that he had led her to his den so that she could assist him for his problem once the time came. He had told her that he had been known to have seizures and that they normally happened around this time of the month, and that he was always alone. She had offered to help, and then everything built up from there, but she knew it couldn't be real. She had to be dreaming. She was never that lucky.

Little did she know though that she was still laying on the mossy bed that was made for her, and that it had now been soaked and she had started soaking it again. She caught it this time though as she felt the area starting to warm around her, and her eyelids started to slowly open. Much to her dismay the odor was very potent and made it more than obvious what had happened several times through the night.

As she opened her eyes though, she realized. She was still laying on that bed of moss, and she looked over, and she could see the charcoal black dragon as she turned her head to him. It wasn't a dream, it was very real! She was with a dragon that had shown affection for her and had looked past her problem to get to know her. The gloomy look that had been on her face as she started to wake up soon turned into a soft smile as it sank further into her, that she wasn't alone anymore, and that if she did everything right for him as she hoped she would, wouldn't ever have to be alone again.

She pushed herself up slowly hearing the moss make a squishing sound as the saturated bed pooled and spread out even farther from her hind legs. It didn't bother her though, because she knew that it didn't bother him. He was able to at her, not her situation, and she started to approach him. Good morning she told him licking him on the tip of his snout. I have a decent sized pool of cool water right over here for you, and when you are ready, just tell me what you like and I can go get you something to eat as well. she told him in a soft voice showing him the pool she had made for him. She just hoped that he didn't mind her putting the dent in the floor like she had for it.

Abraxas heard some squishing sounds, like a soaked sponge, and he noticed that Aquaria was waking. He was happy she was here and now awake to help him out. His fever felt out of control and he wasn't sure if he would suddenly fall asleep without telling her anything. But when she came over, telling him good morning with a lick to his snout, it made his insides flutter. Oh, how amazing she was. Her lick reassured him so much.

But his insides fluttering wasn't only his feelings. He could feel the vomit coming up his throat, turning away from Aquaria towards the wall so he wouldn't vomit in front of her. He vomitted, feeling his stomach acid turning his stomach again. Once he was done and there wasn't anything else left in his stomach, he turned back before wiping his snout on his bed. The feeling in his mouth was terrible, and the acid didn't feel too great anyway.

She said that there was some water, cool water to be exact, and he could already feel his sore and gravely throat yearn for it. With the strength he had, he crawled over to the water, lapping it up earnestly and not letting one drop escape from his hold. It felt amazing, but even when it was gone, he wanted some more. He didn't bother Aquaria about it, knowing she was doing a lot for him in the first place. He'd take care of her bed when he had more energy because he knew just some magic energy spent would make him pass out again.

Abraxas went over to his bed, falling quickly onto his soft, warm bed. Chills still rang through his body, though. He closed his eyes, the energy of simply going over to the water being cost. He let out a sigh.

In a gravely voice, he spoke. Thank you Aquaria, but I'm fine now. I can't thank you enough for this. He was stretching the truth a lot on "fine", but he wasn't going to appear weak and needy in front of her, not after what she was doing for him in the first place.

It was a good feeling inside of her to help him back on his feet after something like that. She felt good about herself just by doing it. She knew that it wasn't the only reason that she was doing it for either. She was trying to impress him as well, trying to make him like her even more, and for him to hopefully once he felt better asked her the one question that she only dreamed that she would ever heard from a male. He had sparked something in her that just made her want to be with him, and she hoped that she had done so with him as well. She wouldn't be completely destroyed if he rejected her, because they had only been together for a say, but she would be deeply deeply hurt, and probably wouldn't be seen for a few days outside of her den.

She turned her head a bit as she heard him start to vomit listening for when he was done. She didn't like seeing him like this and there wasn't much she could do for that type of injury. She was good at healing injuries that she could see, but anything sickness related or anything internal she was stuck. What did I get myself into... she thought looking at him, the only thing I can do for him is help get food and water, other than that I'm as good as useless to him... he'll hate me now because I couldn't help him more. she though still keeping the soft smile on her face. It lessened a bit at the thought, but she kept it as best she could. The last thing she wanted to do was make him feel uncomfortable.

As soon as she looked up to him he got up slowly and made his way to the water and started lapping at it. She was relieved that he wasn't mad at her for the hole. AS soon as he emptied it she start to fill it back up again, but he started back to his bed. It would be there for later when he wanted it, she froze bits and pieces of it with her ice to help keep it cool. She heard Abraxas tell her that he was fine now, and that he thanked her for everything she had done for her. She was a bit surprised, It almost sounded like he wanted her to leave... and it was the kind of leave that meant... don't come back... She swallowed hard, I did what any friend could do, and I will continue to do so until you... you... tell me to leaveShe told him her voice fading at the end. I know you're hungry, what would you like and I'll see what I can find for you. She told him hoping that his answer wasn't just go home.

Abraxas breathed in slowly, trying to ease the nausia. It pained him to be this way in front of Aquaria, so weak and lifeless, useless like this. But it was a good thing she understood his position. Otherwise, things would be a whole lot more difficult to be like this in front of the woman he loved. There was no doubt about his feelings for her now. Just the way she was helping him, her beauty, her personality... things couldn't go any better right now, except for his condition. But even then it wouldn't make him equal to her.

She had taken his words wrong. He didn't know what he said till he thought about it many seconds later. His head hadn't processed the words much at all. He really was out of it. Her words were pained as she said she'd leave when he told her to leave. But he was shocked to hear her words. No, he didn't want her to leave, not in a million years. Her next words never came through him, because he was too stricken at the fact he had insulted her.

He tried to shake his head, but it only pained him further. His head continued to throb while black dots came into his vision. He wanted to stay awake with her forever in his vision. If she left, even to hunt for him with his stomach empty, he wouldn't feel good; he'd feel extremely guilty.

No, please, don't leave, Aquaria. I didn't mean it that way... He took in a quick breath. I want you to stay here, with me. I'm not hungry. It was a lie but he really didn't want her to leave. I...I... He was so close to saying it, so close. But he faltered. It was waay too early for that. It had to be the right moment, right time and place. He truly did love her, though.

Aquaria smiled at him. His reactions to her made her realize that he didn't want her to go anywhere, and that she had misunderstood what he was meaning about his comment about him being fine. She realized that he didn't mean it as to he wanted her to go home, he just merely meant that he was okay, which she could still tell was a bit of a stretch from the truth as well. He probably just didn't want her to worry about him, which was something that couldn't be helped now. the feelings that she now felt for him would not let her not worry about him until she knew that he was okay and could function normally again.

She heard he falter at first but then tell her what his body language had already told her. He told her that he didn't mean it that way, and that he didn't want her to leave, then adding that he wasn't hungry. She just kind of laughed, he was cute like that. She caught him trying to say something else but he stopped himself. It struck her curiosity as to what he was going to say, but she decided it would be best to not try to push it from him.

She walked over to him and gave him a gentle lick hoping that the odors that were still present around her didn't bother him. Come on now, I know you are hungry, and not eating isn't going to help you get better. I may not know much about seizures, but I know that anything can starve. She told him in a soft, caring voice as she gave him a small nuzzle on his neck, hopefully, helping to ease some of the pain in that area, but also to show that she cared for him. So, like I was asking just a minute ago, what would you like to eat? She said in both a soft, but firm tone. She made it obvious that she wasn't taking him not eating as an answer.

Abraxas could tell that Aquaria was starting to undertand what he really meant, and he wa happy for that. Never would he want to make such a beautiful creature such as herself leave him merely because he was ignorant and didn't know the beauties in life. But now that he met her, she was the most amazing thing in the world. The beauty of flowers, the sunset, the stars couldn't compete with her.

When she gave him a gentle lick, he leaned in more to receive the action. Oh, how good it felt to know someone was there for you in your time of need. He returned the lick, hoping that his breath didn't smell bad because of the stomach acids. He knew bad breath was a turn off and females wouldn't be impressed very well on that. But he knew that he didn't have to worry about first impressions with her anymore. That was over, luckily, and hopefully she'd understand every word and action he would display in the future.

She spoke about how not eating would only make him sicker, and wouldn't do any good in the healing process. Okay, so he had to agree with that. But she asked him again on what he wanted to eat. Her tone was caring but the edge to it made him realize it wasn't an option for him. She wa going to hunt for him either way and he'd have to eat it, which he didn't mind after all with the empty stomach.

With a small smile for her courageous and brave attitiude, he spoke. Why don't you just surprise me? Anything would work for me right now. He gave her another lick before laying his head back down, feeling the diziness for being elevated for that amount of time.

She had a strong heart to be so firm like that. He knew he wouldn't have the guts to do that, afraid he's risk a relationship. Even if she risked it, it was a worthy move to make. Plus, it said a lot about her. Altogether, she would be a wonderful mate and mother. Never would he know such a brave and protective person like her.

He slid his eyes closed halfway, starting to feel drowsy again. Maybe while she was gone, he could take a quick nap to preserve his strength.

Aquaria felt Abraxas's tongue brush over her the side of her snout as she pulled back from her lick. She didn't pay any attention to his odor of his breath, she had smelled worse, and she didn't have any room to say anything about odors that were less than pleasant as the roomed still held the obvious scent of her overnight accidents she'd had while she was sleeping. She knew him better though to look past all that, and she could look past anything at all. Even that said, his breath really wasn't that bad anyways.

She smiled when he finally caught on the fact that she wasn't going to let him not eat, and he returned a smile. He told her to surprise him, and that anything would work right now. She nodded to him and gave him another quick lick, Okay, I'll be back soon.

With that she moved to the outer rim of the cave and took to a flight to find some game or some fish. Lets see... The fish would help his immune system, but the game would help him with nutrients from herbs as well... or maybe at least a little. she thought to herself wondering what she should hunt for him. She didn't want to be general and go after a random fish or a deer, but she knew that he would need something that would help him get better, not possibly make him even more sick. She decided that game would be easier since they were normally larger and easier to carry than a fish was.

As she was starting to turn back towards the shore, she heard someone yell for her. She turned back and saw Amira coming towards her. Good morning Amira.

Don't good morning me, you had me worried sick last night when you didn't come home...

Relax Amira, I'll be fine.

The two dragonesses landed on the beach. I was just worried, you're the closest thing I have to a sister, and I've already almost lost you once. Amira told her before continuing. So.... what's he like? You must share details.

I think he's the most wonderful thing in the world. He's kind, gentle, and very sweet. I'm helping him recover though. He has a problem a lot like mine, but his is more serious, he has seizures, and I'm helping take care of him because one, I've... she paused. I know it sounds rahter.... crazy, but I care for him. Like more than I would normally care for someone... as in.... a lot more.... as in... I care for him with the same amount of passion as I do you or as I did mother....

Sounds like someone may have a crush on someone. Amira joked.

Aqua let out a small laugh as well, Actually it feels like more than just a crush. I mean, I know I've only been with him for a day.... but.... I love him.... he's one of the only ones that didn't turn away from me because I had a problem, and I want to help him though his seizures, because I care for him, and because from what I've been told, no one else would. Right now, I'm supposed to be hunting for him, so I actually do need to get a move on. She told Amira.

She watched her nod before telling her that it was okay, and that she needed to get back to her run. She had already figured out that she wouldn't be home that night either so she didn't bother in asking.

When Amira flew off, Aquaria pushed herself back up into the air and started looking for prey. As she gained altitude, she noticed a couple deer in the trees and she flew over head to try to spook them out. When then didn't move, use used wind magic to force them out and snatched them both as they did snapping their necks as she shook both of them and banked back to the cave where Abraxas was. I hope he didn't get the wrong impression if he saw Amira and I talking. she thought to herself. She was scared now. She wasn't sure if he had seen her and Amira talk, and she could only hope that he wouldn't think that she was talking bad about him. She knew that wasn't the case at all, but he wouldn't be able to tell from the distance he was.

She landed at the entrance to his den and found him sleeping. She was a little bit relieved, but was still nervous as she placed the deer next to him. Abraxas, I'm back with some food. she told him as she waited for him to wake.

His eyes had closed before she left the den. It was surprising, as he usually wasn't this tired, but he guessed that being talkative and interacting with Aquaria took a toll on him in this shape. He loved being around her, and when she left, the darkness of his eyelids frightened him again, alone in his den again. It made him think about his past, being alone every single time as he was in this kind of shape. He wanted to feel healthy so he could be with Aquaria. But his problem had to be in the way of things.

Before he could open his eyes, he was fast asleep, being dragged into his vivid dreams. There was his father again. The same dream haunted him again and again. He tried to regain control of himself in his unconscious state, but it was impossible. Once he was in, he couldn't get out until they ended on their own.

Right in the middle of his dream, he heard Aquaria's gentle voice. His nostrils picked up the scent of an animal, his mouth watering with the scent. Oh, how good it smelled. There wasn't one, but two. Probably one for Aquaria. If she had brought them both for him, he would insist on her having one of them.

He opened his eyes, still feeling the sleep dragging him in again. So with the strength he had, he crawled over to the deer, which happened to be a few feet away. Without any word, he bit into the deer, taking a big chunk and chewed. It tasted so good in his mouth. Though he didn't have much of an appetite, he ate anyway, knowing it was good for his recovery. He'd lose the weight just like every other time he had a seizure.

It wasn't long before the deer was mostly skin and bones. With his stomach full, a drink of water from the hole in the floor, he went back to his bed an plopped down. He couldn't ask for anything else at this moment. He had the dragoness of his dreams with him, the recovery he would get, and the throbbing in his head wasn't as bad as earlier. He felt his fever lessen somewhat from the cool water and food.

Abraxas looked up at Aquaria. Thank you so much for that delightful food. Things are so, so much easier with you here to help me. I don't think I would have survived this time without you.

He let a low purr come from his throat. When you're done, I wouldn't mind some... Body heat next to me. It would help me sleep more comfortably with you by my side. As he said this, he gestered with his head to come to the empty spot next to him. He hoped he hadn't frightened her, but at least she would be with him, hopefully.

When Aquaria made her way over him, and found that he was indeed sleeping she was relieved a bit but still nervous. She wasn't so much nervous about what he thought of her, well it was still kind of that but in a different way. Right now though she was mainly worried about how he was feeling though. Trying to make him happy and comfortable right now. She watched him start to wake up, and she gave him a soft smile. He looked adorable laying there like that. She didn't like the reason behind why, but he was still the most innocent looking thing on the planet then. When he saw the deer though, he pushed himself weakly and starting in her direction and grabbed one of the deer.

She waited for him to start eating before beginning on the deer that she had caught. This was actually a rare treat for her, as she rarely ever at game. A vast majority of the time, she would actually eat fish during one of her swims and was what she was more used to eating, the sweetness of deer meat would be a welcome change for her. She bit into the deer, and did so slowly. She wasn't sure how much he would need to eat, and she suddenly felt a little bad about not grabbing an extra one for him if he wanted it. I should have thought more ahead than that... she thought to herself. As she worked on her meal.

Once both deer were stripped clean, she used a little bit of wind to pus the bones out into the ocean for the fish to either build around or eat which ever they were to do with it, and turned back to Abraxas. When he thanked her for then meal, she just smiled, It was no problem at all. I rather enjoyed it actually. she said hopefully making him feel more at ease. She did enjoy it though. It was more of a challenge for her to hunt on land because of her weakened wings and the close quarters that are normally found on land.

He then asked her something that she wasn't expecting, which, he had proven to be quite good at. All of them were in a good way though, as he asked her if she would mind laying next to him. The very thought scared her. What if she had an accident and she accidentally wet not only in his bed, but on him as well... He had to know that it would happen eventually if she fell asleep there, which was a high possibility. He had to have had thought of that though before he had asked her. She looked back at her lower-half just to make sure she hadn't stated or anything of the like, and started to move on to the bed with him. Okay, she told him laying up next to his warm body.

It was a wonderful feeling, it was so warm and muscular. She felt the most comfortable she had been in a while. Despite everything, she was happy, and she laid her head down, laying it over his paws instead of hers hoping he wouldn't mind.

Abraxas watched her as she ate and what happened after. When he asked his question to her, he was terrified to see the first look on her face. Was she afraid she would accidently have an accident? Did she fear it would happen in his bed, possibly on him? He was surprised at first. Aquaria hopefully had understood that he didn't care about that. He cared about her, not so much her problem. He was willing to help, despite the risks.

But his heart lifted when she came over, lying against his body. The instant warmth calmed his chills down. Then she laud her head down; on his paws. It thrilled him dearly, seeing her like this. She was actually next to him, lying next to him, supplying the warmth that would help in his recovery.

He draped his wing over her, encasing her in a safe and hopefully comfortable memory. He wanted her to remember this as a moment of friendship and relationship, not anything to look back on and regret. He knew now that he was in the best of hands the world could supply him. This was possibly the best moment of his life. Nothing could ruin this, not even his sickness.

Then he laid his head on top of her neck, closing his eyes. If only this would last forever. He wondered if popping the question to her now would drop the mood, but he wasn't entirely sure this had set their relationship in stone. He had to ask her, know her honest thoughts on this.

Aquaria... My feelings for you have grown to an astonishing amount since the time I met you. I can't put it into words. We have a lot in common, you and me. I only wish that you feel the same. He took in a few more breaths, thinking of his next words. Never would he have imagined saying this to such a dragoness as her.

I love you Aquaria, more than you know. Will you... Will you be... My mate? His heart almost stopped. Go could he ask her that so quickly? This was the second day with her. Abraxas felt the stupidity drip away. This was fate, meant to be.

Aquaria was resting gently next to Abraxas, feeling his warm body next to hers. It was something that she had only ever dreamed about, being held by another dragon of the opposite gender like this. She had experienced being held from Amira Several times with her trying to comfort her right after her first accident and her first wave of accidents. It was something she would never forget and would always owe Amira for in being there for her. This feeling though, she loved it, and she loved every second of it. She felt so safe and so secure right now, that nothing could bother her.

She felt him lay his head next to hers and she felt completely at ease and at home. She knew that he was something special, and was something that she didn't want to lose. I don't know what I should do.... I want to tell him how I feel right here and right now, but... I'm only supposed to be laying here keeping him company. I don't even know if he still feels the same about me at all. she thought to herself though.

All of her thoughts there were washed away as he spoke. He told her that ever since he had met her, his feelings for her had been rising and rising, and that it had reached a point where he couldn't put it into words. That they both had a lot in common and that he only hoped that she felt the same. She opened her eyes and looked up at him with a soft smile, but still with butterflies flying in her stomach. What she heard next made her think she was in a dream. She heard him tell her that he loved her. He loved her. Those three words played over and over in her mind making herself think that she had fallen asleep and was dreaming. That thought was only further brought on when he asked her if she would be his mate.

She was hoping for anything right now that would show her that she wasn't dreaming, a bite on her next and extreme pain anything. Fortunately for her, she felt the moss underneath her and for once, it was a relieving feeling. She turned to him and gave him the softest, most loving lick that she could muster. Abraxa, She told him touching the very tip of her snout to the base of his jaw bone. I would love to be your mate, and I love you just as much... I just, couldn't voice it because... I didn't know, but now I do, and I love you. she told him confirming and sealing the relationship. she didn't even care about the fact that she had made a mess in his bed now, she was too happy to think about anything other than him.

Abraxas was scared that she would reject such an offer. Of course, he didn't want her to accept just out of being sorry for him. He wanted her to love him for who he was, like he loved her to be. His question appeared to have startled her, as she seemed to go into a trance. Her eyes seemed to be far seeing, and he figured everything was going to come to an end. Moments passed until she finally spoke.

She said that she loved him just as much, and that she would love to be his mate. Heart swelling with love, Abraxas felt himself feint from what was happening to him. It wasn't just the fever that was making him feel so; he had just accepted his request as a mate. Abraxas would no longer be alone in his life. He had a loving dragoness to be with him forever and ever. No more would he be lonely, having to hide constantly.

To show his happiness, he licked her tenderly on the snout, knowing that this was true and he wasn't dreaming. Aquaria would forever be his and no one else's. He would fight to the death for her life, go through years of torture to be with her. He'd have a thousand seizures just to spend one day with her.

His wing's embrace tightened around her. His light headedness was getting the better of him. So he laid his head right next to hers, closing his eyes. The bed was cool and moist, and he didn't think once about her having an accident. He didn't notice it. Everything was perfect.

I love you dearly, Aquaria. You don't know how happy I am to know that I never have to be alone again. He nuzzled her against the cheek, sleepiness drawing him near.

Aquaria's heart was racing speeding inside of her. The only thing she could think of now was him, and the fact that they were now together for eternity. The entire thing still made her think that everything had to be a dream, but she knew that it wasn't the case because of her accident. In all of her dreams she made sure that she had control over that. He didn't even notice it though and it made her feel even better. She knew by now that it didn't bother him, and it made her less self-conscious about her condition.

In fact, her condition was nothing compared to the seizures that he was forced to live with every month. The only thing her problem did was cause embarrassment for her when it happened, however his could cost him his life with each seizure. I should probably try to further my healing magic... I know I wasn't very good in the past, but... maybe things have changed... I really need to be able to help him through these more than just being here. she thought to herself. When she felt him lay his head next to hers, she smiles, Then again, maybe just being here, is the only thing I need to be. she said to herself with a smile and snuggled as close as possible too him.

The warmth of his body against her was very relaxing, and it was tiring her from how comfortable she was. She could tell that he was starting to get sleepy as well, and she couldn't think of a better image than the two of them sleeping together as they were now. When he told her that he loved dearly, and that she didn't know how happy he was that he wouldn't ever have to be alone again. She brushed her tongue over his cheek, Oh, I bet I know just exactly how happy you are. she told him licking him again. Because I feel the exact same way.

It was true. His statement reminded her of that fact as well, that she would never have to be alone again, and that someone would always be there with her. Granted she had Amira, so she wasn't entirely alone, but throughout a good eighty percent of the day she was alone. She didn't dwell on that, she knew those days were over, and she couldn't be happier at the moment. She was also suddenly scared though. She knew that they were mates now, and that at some point, they would cross that boundary and they would engage in courtship, and she was both scared yet curious as to what that would feel like. She flicked it out of her mind though. They would have an eternity for that. For now, she just wanted to enjoy being with him.

The only thing in his mind was Aquaria. That was it. Her grace, her beauty, her personality, everything about her, just made his heart swell a thousand times. It was good, and he was starting to feel giddy with it. He was love sick, no doubt. It didn't make him feel bad at all. In fact, it felt strange to him, so foreign. Never had he felt this way before, not even so much as friendship to someone. They were mates now. No more would he have to worry about any of that.

If only he could really show her his love that he felt for her. There was one thing he could do that would speak a thousand words, letting her know just that feeling. He almost shook himself. How could he think of that right now? Of course they were mates, but it felt too early to be thinking about that. In his condition, he was practically paralyzed. No, not yet.

All he could do was relax right now and get better. Having her here all the time, by his side even; he couldn't ask for anything else. Just her presence made him happy, regardless of his condition. It didn't matter though. He was here with her.

He could feel his condition worsen. He couldn't let Aquaria know; that would only worry her. But he was feeling very feint and his entire body felt on fire. It felt really hot and musty in the den now, and he knew his body temperature probably felt hot to Aquaria. He tried to move a bit away from her, hoping she wouldn't notice his distress.

But his body wouldn't move with the effort. Aquaria...

She was content laying right there next to Abraxas. She felt as if nothing could possible ever go wrong for her again. That everything was going to turn for her now, and start getting better. Before she knew it, someone may come along that could heal both her and Abraxas's condition. Oh how she would love that. She could live without worry of having anymore accidents and then neither would have to worry about a seizure killing him anymore. That wasn't the case right now though, and she knew that it would be a while before something like that happened.

She then felt something change. She could feel Abraxas's body temperature rising, and fast. She felt him try to move away from her, and she realized that her body heat laying next to him would be the worst thing for him. He couldn't move though, and she felt this. She could feel him trying to move, but not getting anywhere and her head turned to him, and her weakly mumbled name from him didn't help her worry.

She carefully moved out from under his wing trying to not shake it too much to cause anymore undue comfort for him at the moment. He didn't need anymore pain to deal with right now. Abraxas, sweetie are you okay? You're burning up. She told him unable to keep the worried tone from her voice. No, this could happen. She had just found someone what wanted to be her mate, who actually cared for her and loved her. She couldn't lose him now. It would emotionally destroy her if she lost him. She wrapped some ice around his wing joints to try to help keep him cool, and she made sure to stay close enough to him to where she could get to him if something happened.

She didn't know what she could do though. It was this kind of situation that she was afraid was going to happen. Something was going to happen and she didn't know what to do. Other than trying to keep his body temperature down she was completely useless right now, and it hurt her. It hurt her knowing she couldn't help the one dragon that cared for her and showed her love and that she felt the same way for. She nuzzled him. Please be okay... she told him the worry even more obvious in her tone.

As Awuaria slipped out from under his wing, he could feel the slight change but it didn't do him much good. He could barely hear her speak to him. He could only imagine the stress that she was experiencing, seeing him in this condition now that she felt this way about him. It didn't make him feel any better, watching her worry. Despite her healing abilities, they couldn't do much for each other at all. There wasn't anything she could do for him.

Or so he thought. At the touch of the ice to his wing joints, he could feel himself twitch from it. The coldness made him even more uncomfortable, but since he couldn't move, they were going to have to stay there. There wasn't anything else she could do besides stand back and wait.

Even as he lay there for minutes, his heart was racing for thoughts. He was still in some shock at becoming mates with Aquaria. His emotions were scattered everywhere, though he knew they were of love. He was starting to realize he couldn't feel much of his body temperature. His head felt light. With the emotions and his sickness, maybe it meant he was in shock, and he'd be dead soon. They couldn't lose any time.

The ice was working, however, but he knew it wouldn't be enough. With some unnoticed strength, he said to her meakly Get help, please, My Love.

It didn't take Aquaria long for her to figure out that the ice wasn't working nearly as fast that was needed, and it only proved to heighten her already worried state. She was lost. She didn't know what else that she could do for him. He was laying there hurting and suffering, and there wasn't anything that she could do about it. I really need to further my healing magic.... I can't bear to see him like this and be forced to stand and watch him like this! she thought to herself.

She heard him tell her weakly to get help. She wasted no time acknowledging him and took off towards the den entrance as pushing into the air trying to find someone in the area that could heal. CAN SOMEONE HELP US!!! PLEASE!!! We need a healer!!! she yelled loudly through the area repeating herself several times. She could all but hope someone could hear her as tears stained her cheeks. She didn't want to leave him alone too long. She was all but scared that he would die before they got back.

Silvera was soaring around the southern parts of the coastline. Everything was quite and relaxing. She was enjoying some time alone on the sandy beach letting the winds caress over her wings and body as she just laid there as comfortable as she could be. The only sounds that were present, were the waves rolling into shore, and the random gusts of winds.

That all changed though drastically. She heard something that sounded like yelling in the distance and she looked up in the direction. She was too far away to make out exactly what it was, but when the figure came closer, she could see that it was a very bright blue dragoness, and what she was yelling couldn't have been more serious. She was yelling for help and was saying that a healer was needed. Silvera wasted no time.

With in seconds she was in the air. She didn't know this dragoness, but she was a healer, and an alphess. It would say a lot of negative things about her clan if she just flew away. Dragoness, I am a healer. What is it that you need? she said moving up close to her.

My mate is in trouble. He's suffering from after-effects from a seizure, and he could be dieing. She heard the dragoness tell here.

Lead me to him. Silvera told her and followed her to the den where they were.

When she saw the dragon in question, she knew that this was serious and began working immediately. I can't keep him from getting seizures. I can't fix that imbalance, but what I can do is make everything less lethal, and I can make the after effect right now also minuscule. She told the dragoness and hopefully the other dragon as well if he could still hear her.

Silvera started spreading her magic all over his body, focusing on nerve points and re-stimulating his body to rightfully adjust itself. The entire process was slow, but she didn't have a choice in the matter. She was going to heal this dragon, or at least greatly speed up his recovery.

Right after Abraxas spoke to her, she acknwledged him before spreading her wings and taking off. It didn't feel good to be alone at this time. It made him feel like he was before Aquaria came into his life. Of course, he knew she would be back with help soon enough, but just this feeling brought back all those sour memories. He didn't know how much time he had to live right now. He didn't know if this was his time, but everything was starting to zone out around him. His breathing was labored, his eyes turning glassy as he gazed off to a far away place.

In his vision, he could just glimpse a white figure entering the den, along with Aquaria's figure. Their voices were droned out, like the words were monotone and so slow he couldn't process the words the were being said. It made him wonder if he was actually dead, with the white dragoness before him.

He could start to feel a cool breeze drifting over him, seeping into his veins and making his muscles relax. His pain and discomfort seemed to drift away for the moment, just leaking away from him. He figured it was magic, because nothing of this sort could have happened, unless he was finally dead after all.

But the darkness starting to come in his vision couldn't have been a better place. There was the same coolness around him. There was still the moist bed underneath him, so he knew he wasn't dead. Instead, he could feel the drowsiness, himself falling asleep with his beautiful mate in his mind.
