| Welcome to The Dragons of Selzar. This place is designed as a Role-play site where you literally live as a dragon. You create your dragon character, join one of the five dragon clans, and then you live it's life as if it was your life, and adapt it to different scenarios that are brought upon you by other users and characters. This place is a lot of fun and that's what everything is all about. Come and Join our clan of Dragons! ~Silvera~ ~Head Admin~ |

Pretty good! I think next time you do a dragton, try to keep the edges smoother, and make the body less thick, maybe. It's a bit out of proportions. I think you need longer legs, definetely a thicker tail, and maybe thinner body, too. |

It is pretty good, but Kari's right. One thing that might help you is try defining the muscles. I would also suggest thinking about the wing membrane not as if it's stretched all the time, but that it can fold, like the pleats in cloth when you hold two of the corners in your hands. Shading might also help a little too. |

Okay my turn XD lol. I'm chalk full of tips! The neck of a dragon should be a little thicker and they are not normally that long- depending on the breed, Chinese/japenese tend to have a more longer neck then the European style- The chest, shoulders, and stomach could have more body to it {i suggest trying to draw with shapes, A circle for the chest, a smaller circle for the hind quarters and a smaller one for legs and the joints in the legs} The tail should be thicker near the base, The wings look weak, Dragons take pride in their wings {and color of scales} the wings should look more stronger, as wyvern said, try to create the illusion of Muscle. The jaw could have a little more body to it. With the hind legs, the way they are positioned you wouldn't see the hind claw. Same goes for the front leg in the back, you wouldn't see the back claw. The wings, I also noticed you put the horn on it, sometimes its easier to use the actual clawed finger ^^" Never EVER sketch dark. Start out VERY lightly, using light pencil strokes, that way if you makw a mistake and have to erase, the line of mistake wont be there. This is effective if you use the shapes to draw with ^^'. Once you are satisfied with the drawing, then you can go over it with a pencil or you can ink it with a simple ball point pen-every day buy at wall mart type. To add to wyv's muscle tip, a way to create the illsuion of a muscle on an arm, say you want to do the wing base? Look at the arm of a human, You can see the distinction of a human muscle in the Dragon wing, and the arm of a human and dragon are likewise the same, looking at the muscle diagram of a dog would work too seeing as the dragon has some of the same basis of a dog in the legs. For the neck, sometimes a simple curved line around the middle of the neck can work and give that illusion. I noticed you tried to create a 'plantigrade' type foot. {plantigrade means it walks on the pad of its feet{like a cat} Digigrade means it walks on it toes{like a raptor} to create the plantigrade look you might want to make the actual toe more blockish and the foot as well. ^^' well there's my...harsh sounding critisim. I don't mean to be harsh just trying to help ^^" |

... I have no idea what 004 is supposed to be, but it's kind of cool. Looks like a cloth fluttering in the breeze. |

Something yuou might want to try, look around Deviant Art, Look at some of the various tradiational artists on there, and once you find a style of art you like, try to develop your own off it. Thats how I created my style, but I learned from a really good friend of mine ^^; |

I Like it, nice job ^^ You tried changing the settings of your scanner to see if it can pick up black lines in pencil better? It might be a setting. {shrugs} |
