Finn felt equally, if not even more happy. Under my wing, is nestled the most beautiful of songbirds... But it's so fragile, I have to be careful not to crush its pearly wings. he thought, looking up at her beautiful face. He felt so comfortable, so content by her, with the raw power of the storm unleashed outside. He wanted to speak poetry about it, about her, about them both together. At her words, though, he held it in, licking her face tenderly. Believe me when I say I've never agreed so much with anyone else. As much as I like Aries, I don't care at all what she will think of us together. You're the only one that counts anymore, Alara. With another lick, he smiled at her lovingly. You're my ray of joy, the fount of my happiness. Without you, I'd be darkness, and nothing else. A smudge under the sun. But you complete me; your light spirals around me, lighting me up, too. He licked her face once more, but more towards her snout this time, and not her chee. he kept it slow, deliberate, gentle. He didn't want to scare her off, but he wanted his emotions to be perfectly clear to her. |

His words made her sing in joy in her mind. Never had she heard just beautiful words said by such a handsome dragon, and this was actually with meaning. Her head felt light, like nothing could make her think differently about Finn. But this moment felt real, and not like a dream. This relationship had gone from just meeting, and becoming soul mates in a matter of days. That night she "fought with the dragon with Finn" escaped her mind entirely. He was powerful, protective, caring, handsome, and with his words, he felt the same way she felt for him. This wasn't just a simple crush she might have had in the past. This was true love, and nothing could change it. She had true feelings for Finn. He would be there with her forever. When he licked her snout tenderly, slowly, full of love while outside the storm was praising their love, she knew this moment would change everything. No more would she have to be alone, feel helpless in her den alone. Letting out a hum laugh, she licked him back, feeling their tongues meet. It didn't feel awkward, and she hoped he didn't feel awkward either. Her heart was yearning to stay with him forever. She hoped he felt the same way with her. So, does this mean we're...mates? |

I hope it does. But whatever it means, I know that I love you, Alara, with all my heart. he said, continuing his licking of her snout. She was licking him back and on numerous occasions, their tongues met. He didn't mind, though; he revelled in the intimacy shared, hoping it would last forever. His emotions weren't unknown to him; he'd been in love before, but the sentiments he'd felt hten and the ones he did now were completely different. He realized what what he'd felt for Aries had been storng, but mislead. They would never have been more than friends successfully, as their love was founded on mutual need. Now they both had others and could move on. He nuzzled Alara gently, a peal of lightning splitting the sky into two. The sudden sharp light lit up her eyes, filling them with beautiful radiance that only accentuated their natural shine and sparkle. You're so beautiful... he said gently, as if confessing a deep secret, snuggling closer to him. And smart, and kind, and gentle. he added afterwards, rubbing his cheek against hers very gently. |

Alara smiled when he said that he loved her, so much. So they were mates now. She finally had someone there for her, someone who would never leave her side again. She wouldn't have to fear now that he was there. She would get to spend the rest of her life with him. Together, forever. But would he stay with someone like her? She didn't have a good past at all. But with his next words, precious compliments and his cheek against hers, she couldn't help but feel incredible inside. And I shouldn't forget about you my love. May I say that you are the most handsome dragon in the world? Shr licked him gratefully on the cheek, feeling his body heat against her own snout. I love you...so, so much, Finn. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. |

As do I. he repeated, the vow sealed between them with love. He licked her cheek tenderly, stroking down her neck with his snout until he reached the sensitive spot at the base of it. He tickled her with his tongue there for a little, grinning up at her as another lightning bolt split the sky. And you're too kind. I'm not the most handsome, not the best partner for you. I only wish I can do my best to protect you and any family we create over the years we spend together. Any moment by your side will be the reason I exist, the fire that fuels my existence and purpose. he told her gently, his tail wraping around hers and his wing furling around her. There are very few things than could describe how happy I am right now. it's.. as if my life's complete. As if I found my purpose, the light to guide me for the rest of my days. he told her with a beautacious smile on his face, his eyes painted with love, his voice with tenderness. |
