Naruk had all but given up hope in finding Emmos at this point. She had been gone for about three full years, and with each passing day the likely hood of her returning seemed slim. He had memories of her sleek slender body and how beautiful she was despite all of her scars. He thought back to when they were in the mountains of Furick and became heated and engaged in thier first and apparently their only mating session. He could remember how she felt under him and the smoothness of her scales and the smoothness of her eyes when she would look into his. Was I not good enough for you? Or has something else happened? Either way, I have failed you, and I don't blame you for not wanting to come back to me. He thought to himself as he continued flying though the lands coming to rest in the central plains with the edge of the massive Volcano just on the horizon.

Everything has changed so much, and there is so much more danger here now. Only but a year ago this was a vast beautiful plain but now it's nothing more than dried up grass and ash from the Volcano that appears to have come out of no where. It's almost as if hell itself was making itself right at home here in the lands. He thought to himself as he landed in the dried field. He had no idea what could have been causing this as he had been secluded from the rest of society since Emmos's disappearance. Everything was falling apart. All he had to do was barely touch one of the blades of dried grass and it would turn to dust as the water was being parched from the land. At least your in a better place where ever you are... He thought to himself laying down. He really didn't care what was going on right now or if this was a dangerous spot to be as he had lost everything so he really didn't care whether he lived or died anymore.

Silence barely was the word for what was running in her mind. She had seen the only thing that had cared for her die, and the only thing she had cared for gone. The only oe who was teaching her to feel again.. To actually Feel. She felt torn up inside and wishing to find something to kill, but those last words spoken with a dieing breath,
Remeber The Sun.... Acloytin.

She wouldn't forget that, and it would keep her stable, keep her from killing everything she saw. Sangyne had given her a peace that she would not taint with blood. Well... Wouldn't Soak with blood. there was no Garuntee that She would keep the words clean. The light struck her scales, dazzling bueaty as they glittered and hilighted a sanguine red of blood, the rest black. Lowering her head she growled, cracking her jaws open slightly, she looked up into the sky, then opened her wings, looking at her wings, she closed her jaws tight, blinking her black eyes, Alexithymia growled and swept her wings to her sides, jumping off into the air and from the ground, she was airbourne. Her wings whipping in the air as she fought gravity and ascended into the sky.

Smoke billowed from her nostrils as she looked down, her sight seeming more wider in range as she was higher up in the sky. She growled as she noticed something sparkling on the ground below, Gliding towards it she flapped her wings slightly to stay in the air at her level, hovering above the glittering thing, she could make out scales. Seeing what it was, it was a Dragon. She hissed from between her teeth, why would he be here?

Argetwing had been out exploring, and she felt the need to fly need the Jorthian volcano. Knowing that she was flying straight into the Jorthian's lair, she thought she'd fly over there anyway. She'd survived an encounter with an undead dragon for pete's sake! Granted, Salacia had been there to help her and it was probably at least a hundred times more dangerous to fly near the Volcano than run from a dragon made of bone, but whatever. The temperature in the air was slowly increasing as Argetwing flew towards what had once been a beautiful plain filled with lush green grass. Argetwing dropped her altitude significantly, hoping the Jorthian would be asleep or too preoccupied to notice her.

As her feet hit the dry remains of what one could only assume to have been grass, Argetwing felt a wave of nausea sweep over her. She forced the rising bile back down and stared at the horrific sight before her. The volcano loomed over the tops of even the tallest trees, it's sides blackened by lava that had forced it's way out and solidified into black waves. A thick cloud of smoke surrounded the very top, distorting the tiny amount sunlight that could filter through it so that the light was a reddish color, like the sky at sunset, but somehow darker and more sinister. The ground close to the volcano had cracked, forming deep fissures. Smaller cracks crisscrossed the ground near where Argetwing was standing, like the floor of a lake bed that had not seen rain in many years. A sudden gust blew through the desolate plains, creating a huge cloud of dust that caused a shadow to pass over the plains. Argetwing buried her face in her wings, trying to keep the dust from entering her lungs. When the wind had died down, Argetwing lifted her face, noticing a white shape in the distance. Another dragon.

Argetwing ran toward him, flapping her wings to try to add a little speed. As she neared, the more familiar the shape seemed to become. When she was little under 20 feet away, she finally remembered why he seemed so familiar. It was Naruk, the delta who had left the clan after his mate, Emmos, disappeared. Hey! It's not safe to be out here! Argetwing's voice seemed out of place in the windswept plains. Argetwing closed the distance between her and Naruk. You know, I bet Emmos is fine. Something tells me she was forced to leave. You shouldn't sacrifice yourself to the Jorthian. Life is too precious to waste, for even when all light seems gone, you must remember that the sun will rise again. Argetwing cast her gaze to the volcano. My mother told me that the day she left me and my siblings. I have never stopped looking for her or my father, and you cannot stop looking for your mate. She's probably looking for you as well. Argetwing looked at him from the corner of her eye. I'm Argetwing. From the Furick clan. That's how I know about Emmos. I apologize if I startled you.

Naruk let the grass blow around him as he just laid in the plains. Everything else was lost, so why should he be anything different. Just then out of the corner of his eye he caught a dragon that was almost blood in color and looked to be a bit agitated in his presence. That must be the one that they've been calling Luthicia, the Demon that used to be inside the one called Niradana. It's fitting I suppose, that I should die by her talons. He thought to himself as another dragon landed next to him. She was of many different shades of Silver and blue progressing from her neck through her body and wings. Argetwing He said as she started talking to him.

He had heard a shout from somewhere that it wasn't safe to be out here, and well, at least he now knew where it had come from. She told him that she was willing to bet that Emmos was just fine, but hearing her name only made him even more upset with himself. She continued to talk about her telling him that he shouldn't sacrifice himself to the Jorthian, that Emmos was probably looking for him as well. She then introduced herself, it was weird. She seemed to know his name, and he seemed to know hers, but they hadn't met before in Furick. Names go around easily though whenever they are tied to a story. She also apologized for if she had startled him.

No you didn't startle me, and I didn't come out here to sacrifice myself, though if that happens then it's meant to be. I was hoping that I would catch a stroke of luck and actually find her today, but as each day passes I know my chances drop drastically of finding her at all let alone alive. He told her watching the other dragoness in the sky awaiting her wrath to be inflicted. And your right, there probably was a reason for her leaving, it was either I didn't please her enough when her and I mated, or that I couldn't protect her or the eggs when they needed protecting. With that being said, why would she ever want to come back to me? He told her laying his head down on the grass.

It was weird. Coming back here after seven long years. But Emmos never thought that it would be like this. She never thought that Naruk had left Furick Clan or the lands to be devastated like this. Before the Oakloth everything had seemed so peaceful, so much with life and love. Now the plains that once was so beautiful with the grass and the flowers was just some deserted area. Emmos flapped her wings, her bold scared face looking down. It wasn't just this land that changed, there was a volcano now and there had been rumors of a monster there.

Oh, my Naruk she thought of her mate. Please be okay. She wondered what he would think of her for leaving without warning. Emmos wished she had been strong enough to take Oakloth down at the beginning but she couldn't. Not because she was weakened from the eggs in her stomach but also because she wouldn't damage her eggs. Yet they had been damaged anyway, only one out of five hatched. Emmos was grateful that she managed to have one alive. How she ever got away was seven years ago when Oakloth tried to kill her daughter. Of course Emmos killed him first, no dragon is more dangerous than a threatened mother. Her heart twisted and she wished she could of gone sooner but Tara needed to learn how to fly. It seemed with Emmos to glow with pride that her daughter has more talent than even Emmos since her daughter had already mastered flight.

Between Emmos's gaze she spotted three dragons. One was in the sky below her, sinking down. While the other one was coming close to the white one. She narrowed her eyes and looked closer to the white form. Her heart twisted and she smiled. "NARUK!" she roared and folded her wings in a dive, sinking passed the flying female dragon.

Alexithymia hissed, twisting her wings, the pivoted in the sockets and she backwinged out of the way in suprise, hissing, she watched the dragon fall past her toward those below. Cocking her head slightly to the side she watched, thinking to herself, 'Bad enough as it is...' She wanted to track down this, Acloytin, but she didn't have a clue who that was, nigh what he looked like. All she knew was that she wanted to kill him for what he'd done to Sangyne.
Revenge is always a motive.

Obviously those below were not him, that much she knew, so, where was he? Her mind focused on Acloytin for a bit, till her own curiosty got the better of her. She circled above, watching the dragons below, getting lower and lower each time. Her tail lashing in the air like a rudder, she barely felt the spikes weigh her down. Her neck arched as she watched, getting lower and seeing more each time. She became in range where she could see Naruk alot more clearly, the others as well.

Jerking her head up, her nostrils flared and she looked to her right, still hovering in the air, her dark black claws itching to shred into something. She narrowed her black eyes and growled, the upper lip lifting over the gums and sharp blood red teeth. She looked back down at the Dragons below, watching, waiting. A somewhat amusment. She had nothing else to do yet, she could take a break from hunting down Acloytin, where ever he may be. She'd come here thinking that maybe a fiend like him would make his home here.

Curiousity toyed with her mind like a cat playing with a ball of yarn. She went lower, further off to the west, landing with her hind legs, the muscles rippling on impact, she landed on her front and nestled her wings to her sides. Bending her neck into an arc she kept her eye out on both sky and ground. Acloytin was her main objective.

Argetwing couldn't help but sigh as Naruk began listing what he thought her reasons were for leaving. Oh please. Everyone could see how much Emmos loved you. Maybe someone forced her into leaving, or told her that they would kill you if she didn't leave. I honestly doubt that she wanted to leave you, and I doubt she would've let herself get hurt without telling you in some way. Chin up, You'll find each other in due time. If you believe it's impossible, then it may as well be, but if you keep trying, there's always a chance. Argetwing then realized that Naruk had been watching something up in the sky. Following his gaze, Argetwing spotted a blood red dragon in the air. Suddenly, a black shape, presumably a dragon, sped past the red dragon, causing it to back pedal in midair. It had shouted something, a name. Too short to be Argetwing, obviously not the red dragon's name as the shape had shot past it. A sudden connection clicked in Argetwing's mind, and she stepped several feet away from Naruk, smiling. Or you could just ask her why she had to vanish. Argetwing looked back at the black shape she thought to be Emmos come quickly closer.

Argetwings reaction was about what he had anticipated, how everyone could see how much Emmos loved him and the whole nine yards that went with it. maybe everyone else could see, it, and maybe she was forced away, but that still didn't put to rest the fact that it still basically called him a failure in protecting her. She then told him that they would find each other again in due time so to chin up. That if he believed that it wouldn't happen then it most likely wasn't. How can I not believe it when the facts are staring me in the face. She's been missing for seven years. He thought to himself as he heard something yell in the back of his mind that sounded like it was shouting his name, and the sound of the voice that it came from froze him in place.

He slowly turned his head around to see a black dragoness that he could recognize from anywhere. Emmos! He roared overjoyed at the sight of her, an old fire re-lit inside of him. More importantly his desire to go after whatever had hurt her or right whatever had happened that he had done, if anything at all. The one thing that mattered though was that she was back, and that he was happy again. He wanted to take off and meet her in air but with the rate she was diving, he would do nothing but cause her an injury, which was something that he really really did not want to do. She had been through enough of that in her life as it was.

I guess you were right after all Agretwing. He said with a new more confident tone of voice. Just hearing her voice and seeing Emmos completely changed him from his emotionally unstable self back into the old playful self that he was. She alone was the missing piece of his puzzle and now that she was back they could start anew. His heard was racing inside him almost wishing that they had found each other alone, though he knew there would be time for that later.

As Emmos came falling down to the ground she could see more clearly of her beloved mate. Hearing him call her name made her body burn with the joy they had together. She loved him and wanted him to see Tara. Of course she was sad that she wasn't able to give him a son as well as a daughter but they had a lot of time for more children. Emmos also couldn't wait to show Tara her father that she had spoke about. Tara always wanted to meet him and now that Emmos had finally found Naruk, it wouldn't be long till the grey dragoness does.

She unfolded her wings and blew the wind element at her to make sure she wouldn't slam at the ground. Cautiously and floated down to the left and landed neatly down with her hind legs first. Quickly, she turned to Naruk rubbed her cheek on his neck. Feeling his warmth and scent made her so overjoyed that she almost cried out of joy. "I'm sorry I left you" she said, her throat tight from the mixed emotions of joy and guilt. "It's just Oakloth, a very powerful dragon wanted my eggs. He told me to come with him and if I refuse he would kill you and blame me for it. I wasn't strong enough and I couldn't think on anything else to protect you and the eggs." Emmos felt so ashamed, if only she hadn't been having the eggs in her that she would of killed Oakloth at the very beginning.

Emmos couldn't bear to tell him that four of their eggs didn't hatch. She still failed to protect them. Emmos wondered if this was what her mother felt like when she had to choose only one of her eggs.

Alexithymia's curisouty burned away into hostility, being buired deep beneath her flesh and into the depths of ehr eyes, she backed up slighlty, crouching low to the ground, as if about to take off into the air. Hissing she snapped her jaws together, saliva coating the roof of her jaws and on her teeth. Her tail lashed, the spikes striking the ground and causing the dirt to rise and cracks form in the ground. She did not know who was who or what. It made her uncomfortable.

A snarl escaped her and she took another step back, her neck bending to an arch she snapped her wings open, wind filling them and pushed off the ground, letting her wings hold her weight, she flapped them and struck them to her sides, taking into the air, ascending quickly, feeling more comfortable in the air. If the dragons below went hostile on her, they could easily take her down. She didn't want that. She would keep her own distance and be cautious. If they started the fight...
She'd go down fighting.

Argetwing smiled and shook her head when Naruk said that she had been right after all. Not just me, the entire clan. I assume that you two would like to tell them, yes? She turned to where the red dragoness had landed quite a bit away from them, watching as she leapt back into the air, recognizing the defensive position she took. Argetwing ignored it, they wouldn't attack her, and Argetwing doubted the dragon was fool enough to start a three on one fight. She turned back to Naruk and Emmos. I assume you two would like a chance to catch up more, so I can leave if you want. She spread her wings, prepared to leave should they want some alone time.

The emotions that were running through Naruk's body were the most intense that he had ever felt, and when Argetwing said that she would leave to let them have time alone, he was half tempted to pick her up on her offer just so he could hav the chance to feel Emmos once again the same way back when they had their first session. All he wanted to do was be with her now and get out of these lands before that monster showed up and hurt her. His life had just gotten back to him, he wasn't about to let something take her from him again.

He listened to Emmos as she explained to him what had happened. His stomach knotted as she told him that another dragon was after his eggs. His first instinct was to ask how many eggs survived, but he would find out in due time as they would have been hatched and been out of their wyrmling stage by now. He walked over to her and licked her several times o her cheek and brushed the side of her neck with his snout just admiring her touch with his tongue slowly brushing over her scales, and the grinding of his against hers. He then pulled back just enough to look into her soft ocean-blue eyes, At least you are okay, that's all that matters. I feel bad about the whole situation, but as long as your back safe and sound, we can always try again for eggs at another time once you've regained most of your strength. He told her turning to Argetwing.

I would very much appreciate it if you stay with us as well all have stuff to catch up on. He told her. That and right now I will need all the help that I can in protecting her. I'm not sure if it is her or not, but that dragoness up there looks like the Demoness Luthicia, It will take both of our efforts to get out of here in one piece if she decides to attack. He told her aloud keeping his eye on the red dragoness.

Emmos was happy that Naruk wasn't angry with her. That was one of the things she loves about him, he never gets mad easily and he's the most greatest guy to have as your mate. She looked up at the red dragoness, she didn't know who that was or the matter what is happening. Emmos glared at Naruk when he said that he wanted to protect her. She is perfectly strong enough to look after herself thank you very much. Emmos had survived from her abusing father not once but twice and beat dragons stronger than this femme by the looks of it. She even killed Oakloth so she doesn't need proof that she was strong. The scars also shows that.

But Emmos didn't say anything, she was just happy to have her annoying and loving mate again. "Well, we have a daughter to look after too" she said, after she remembered they could try again. With their daughter they wont have to try anytime soon. But Emmos was yearning to go back to that hot pleasure they had before all this mess came. She turned back to the red female. Emmos wasn't too sure that this dragon was bad, her movements were defensive. Of course a evil dragon would take caution if it is against three dragons at once. But Emmos had seen many evil dragons and this dragon oddly doesn't feel that much bad. "Don't worry we won't hurt you unless you hurt us." She said softly but strong too. If the female proved a threat she can handle it just as well without Naruk and Argetwing.

Alexithymia flicked her tail tip from side to side, the spikes whislting in the air, she watched, amussed actually about this whole thing. She knew she was supposed to be searching for Acloytin, the murderer of her sister, and she was being sidetracked by a couple of strangers... She shook her ehad violently, anger in her eyes now for that thought. She had to find him... and she would slaughter him.

Smoke billowed from her nostrils, her lip rose over gum and teeth as a growl came in response to Emmos' words, it was instinct, a sudden reaction. She didn't know them, she didn't trust them. Yet. Always that word, yet. Beautiful and decieve. She tried to calm herself down, but she isn't one for self control. Yeah, anger managment.

Cracking her jaws open slightly, a hiss escaped and she jerked her head up, answering Emmos with a mere snarl. She didn't know what else to sat, and if words did come, could she keep her now rising temper?

Argetwing nodded when Naruk said that he would appreciate it if she stayed. Of course. And I doubt that the dragoness over there is Luthicia. If it were, she would've tried to kill us by now, throwing the first blow, not defending should we attack first. Besides, the Jorthian would be crawling out of it's volcano by now. She continued listening as Emmos said to Naruk that they had a daughter. Argetwing tried not to hear, feeling a bit like she was eavesdropping. She heard Emmos say to the red dragon that they wouldn't hurt her if she didn't try to hurt them and the snarl that was the red dragoness' response. Struck with the feeling that a fight might break out, Argetwing felt she had to say something. What Emmos means is, if you don't try and kill us, we won't try to kill you. She stepped warily closer to the red dragoness, knowing now that this couldn't be Luthicia, or they'd have been slain by now. I'd like to know your name, but I know I'm in no position to ask anything from you. I'm Argetwing. She snuck a look back at Emmos and Naruk, trying to let them know that she knew what she was doing and that she could handle herself if she was attacked by the red dragoness.

Naruk about froze when Emmos told them that they still had a daughter to look over as well. Small tears began to form in the eyes of Naruk as the emotions finally over-swept his body. At least one of them was okay. He said to himself looking towards the sky. After everything that had transpired, he still had his family, and plus one. He licked Emmos across her cheek one more time before starting, And raise her together we shall. I just hope that you can forgive me. All this time I've been blaming myself for everything. I blamed myself for not being there when you needed me, and I still do in that aspect now, and I had also thought that maybe you had left me because I wasn't good enough for you. I have never been happier to have been proven wrong. Emmos I love you so much and I never want to be away from you again. He told her letting the crystalline tears flow off of the side of his face making impact with the ground.

He had come to realize that the dragoness above them wasn't who he had thought it was or like the other had said they would have been goners by now, so these emotions would help show the dragoness, that they indeed meant no harm, as long as she wasn't going to try to harm them. Even if they were killed off right now though, Naruk would die happy. He was with Emmos again, and that was the only thing that he cared about. Now the only question, is if the clan would accept me back... Seeing as I left them behind trying to find you. He said aloud to Emmos still waiting to see what the reaction was to the other dragon.

Emmos turned to her mate. She was happy he wasn't angry but she was upset that he blamed himself so much. No dragon could of helped her, Oakloth was a like a huge weasel. Emmos had found out that she hadn't been the only one Oakloth went after. It had been many dragonesses that had eggs in them. She had heard that he kills the females and kills the little ones he doesn't like and take the ones he does and raise them to do his bidding. The strangest of all was that Oakloth took dragonesses from Clans, many dragonesses from those Clans were said vanished without a word to anyone even their mates. No one suspected anything at all.

She was glad that she killed Oakloth, he was worse than her father. "It's all right, he won't hurt us ever again" she added half to herself, "he wont hurt anyone ever again." A flash of memory went in her mind. She was crouched down liking her daughter from the slime when she first hatched. Tara wined and nuzzled her mother. Emmos felt joy run through her blood that one of her eggs hatched and that everything she had done hadn't been a waste. 'So that's all?!' Oakloth snarled, coming out of the shadows. Emmos's heart stopped, how long had the dragon been there? He was a ash black colored dragon with half of his face burned. He had only one eye and it was a deep shade of green. His wings like his whole form was large and agile, but on the burnt side there were many holes in the wing while the other was in perfect shape. Tara cried when he got close and snuggled closer to Emmos. Oakloth snarled and grabbed Tara, 'don't hide from me!' He pinned her down and Tara screamed in fear and agony.

Oakloth's only eye twitched along with his one side of his lip. 'You scream too much.' "Wait! What are you doing?" Emmos got to her feet and snarled furiously. 'This wyrmling is too weak to be in this world. I thought that with a dragoness like you, Emmos the dragoness that took down the great Fario. Would give life to strong dragons. But it looks like I am wrong.' He glared at Emmos, 'am I wrong... Sister.' Emmos hissed and leaped at Oakloth.

The black dragoness blinked, she was back to the desert plains. She listened to Naruk's words and shook her head to clear it. Emmos would never say that Oakloth was her half brother. "I think they might, they accepted me and Tara our daughter in the Clan. They wouldn't refuse you." They know how much a wyrmling needs both parents.

Alexithymia suddenly jerked her head, catching a scent on the wind, it filled her mind with hate, blinding her eyes and vision. It was the smell that lingered on the remains of her sister, Sangyne.. the smell of the dragon she had called Acloytin. Her sister's soul had come to her to warn her, so in the end, Sangyne never had failed. Only died. And now... Now Alexithymia had him. Sher hissed, eyes scanning the skies for any sign of a dragon... she hissed, where was he? He could be playing her? Hiding and waiting, making her go insane so he could break her down on the inside with paranoia and then strike? she refused.

She refused to let him play his little trickery, his mind game. She wouldn't be brought down and grounded by him, wouldn't kneel before him. She had only bended to her sister's rule when she needed help, but not him, not Acloytin, not her parents{ who by mention are deceased for the sake of my own sanity}. She had only bended to Sangyne, not even Caranthiage{car-an-th-E-age{had pronounce errors early ><}}. Caranthiage who was supposed to be her mate, but had dispersed not too long before Sangyne's death. Which made him supsciouse, but Sangyne did not jump to a conclusion on him, not yet.

Watching the skies once again, she lost all mental note of those below.. She desperatly wanted to find and kill Acloytin, and he was so close. So close to her, she could smell him... And she wanted him to show himself. The sooner the better. She would slaughter him... Just like he had slaughtered Sangyne... She'd put him through the misery he gave her and so much more. Make him feel every bit of agony he gave to Sangyne. She'd rip out his heart and crush it before his eyes... She'd taste his blood.

Her thoughts gave her a frenzy and she was only more intent on finding Acloytin now.. The sooner she was satisfied the better. If only he would show himself... the coward deciever, hiding in the shadows.. Waiting. Schememing. Never more would she let him rule over, she would find him...

Argetwing watched as Emmos and Naruk reconnected. It was sweet to be sure, but Argetwing couldn't help but feel that she was intruding. When Naruk wondered if the clan would accept him, Argetwing agreed with Emmos. Yeah, I'm sure they'd welcome you back with open arms. Argetwing looked up at the red dragoness, noticing that her movements were slightly more erratic, as if she had picked up a scent and was looking for it's source. She turned back to Emmos and Naruk. And besides, they'll be happy to have another member with all those that have gone missing, like the Alphess. But back to less grim matters, are you two still going to be the Deltas? I doubt anyone would mind if you two became Betas, considering that the position is open. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be asking that.

It was a bit of a relief that Naruk had heard that the one that was responsible for this occurrence at least in this situation was removed from the picture. It was one less thing that he had to worry about dealing with later. He had but one of two things on his mind now, The fact that the clan had already accepted his mate and daughter back into the clan, and that the were sure that they would be willing to accept them back. Argetwing said something to him that unsettled him a bit though. When he left the land, the beta positions were occuipied. He didn't remember by whom but he remembered that there was someone in them, and now they had suddenly vanished as well. This isn't good. First Emmos disappears, and then the betas go missing... There is definitely something that is endangering the mountains of Furick. Fortunately according to Emmos, the one problem has been dealt with, but This other matter is something that will have to be investigated. He said wondering what could have happened to them.

The worry was short lived however though as he turned back to Emmos. Her beauty was just as immaculate as ever, and her eyes, the softest sapphires he had seen. She was always so loving that it was impossible not to love her back. Where... Where is our daughter? Oh how I would love to meet her. He told Emmos rubbing his neck with hers. he then opened his eyes and caught the red dragoness above him, and started picking up the scent of another in the area. He almost instantly let out a hiss as he noticed that the dragoness was taking an even more defensive position above them.

Hey, up there! Naruk yelled out to the other dragoness. What has got you frightened so? Is there something bothering you? Have we done something to lead to this reaction, or is it the scent of this other that I smell that is causing this? He asked her in a concerned voice. He didn't know her, but something was obviously wrong. She was becoming increasingly defensive. Is there any way we can help you with anything? He offered politely. If she needed help with anything he would gladly supply it.The love of his life may have been back, but he knew that something wasn't right here, and if something happened to this dragoness, he'd never forgive himself knowing that he might have been able to do something to prevent it.
