"Sure I'll show you some of my collection, and we can talk a bit while we walk there," he said as he turned and started back into the deeper parts of the caves. "I told you that my father betrayed my family and that I survived because I can hide very good, well, there is a bit more to it than that," he said turning to see if she was coming with him before continuing, "I have what my parents called a chameleon ability, basicly when I'm frightened or when I don't want to be seen I become invisible and only look like a ripple of air when I move while camouflaged." "Thats the only thing that saved my life that day and helped me to live to bring my father to justice," he said as he noticed that they were already back at his cave. |

Outside, Karena grins as she lands on the ledge leading into the caverns. She sniffs the air and notices a smell similar to ice, but with a very dragon-like scent attached to it. "Oh! The ice dragon!" she exclaims excitedly. "I do hope i get to meet her!" she says to herself, her curiosity allowing her to follow the scent deeper into the ice caverns. She finally makes it to Storm's cave and gasps at the sight of the beautiful ice dragon talking to Storm. "She's gorgeous," Karena says softly, walking slowly into sight. "Hi, I'm Karena. You must be Frostica," she says to the ice dragon. "I've heard so much about you, but i never dreamed that you were so gorgeous!" |

Frostica followed Storm into the caves and listened to him talk about his 'chameleon ability'. I can blend in a bit with the ice caves if light hits me sometimes, but I've never heard anything about something like that. she said. Then she noticed that they were back at Storm's cave. So many coins... she said as she walked over to the heaps of gold and other objects. She picked up a particularly shiny coin, examined it, then set it carefully down again. She turned to Storm. How did you get so much of this stuff? Don't humans make it? she asked. Then she noticed that another dragon had entered the cave and she turned her head toward her. It was a wingless dragon like Storm, and she siad to Frostica that her name was Karena and that she had heard a lot about her, but never dreamed she was so gorgeous. Frostica blushed at the compliment. Yes, my name is Frostica and thank you for the compliment. It seems that dragons in Selzar have been talking about me. I wonder why? I didn't think a dragon here would interest them so much that they would come here and look for me. What did the dragons that talked about me to you say? Edited by dragongirl88, Jun 5 2009, 05:44 AM.

Storm sensed someone coming up behind him and spun around taking a defensive stance in front of Frostica, his fur standing on end with electricity spakling along the fur and let loose a viciouse snarl, that died when he saw it was Karena. 'Great its her, I didn't want to see her again, strange, no more weirdness,' he thought felling nothing, but irritation in her presscence. with a snort he turns and walks towards his pile of coins. he stops at the pile of gemstones to the left of the crevice and starts moving them around. After searching for a moment he steps away with a stone in his hand and uses the other one to straighten the pile. "For you, It pales in comparison to you," he said handing it, a perfect flawless diamond the size of his fist, to Frostica as he passed her and laying down on his pile of coins, shifting them a bit, and using his tale to release the curtain from the pillar holding it back from the opening of his sleeping spot.

Karena smiles at Frostica. "I have heard that you were made completely of ice, which is apparently true. I also heard that you were supposedly vicious, but the dragon that told me that appeared to have a grudge against you for some reason. I didn't believe him at all. I also heard that you've lived here all your life and can't leave Suni, not even in winter, or you'd melt. I wish i could help you with that inconvenience so you could see more of Selzar. Selzar is an amazing place! And i'm really glad i got to meet a dragon as beautiful as you. (ooc: sorry about the delay in posting; i got sims 3 last wednesday and have been playing it almost constantly since i got it) |

(OOC: It's okay, I know how addicting video games can be.) Frostica's eyes widened as Storm gave her a huge diamond. It's so beautiful! I love it! Thank you! she said happily, holding the diamond up to her eye level and examining it. It sparkled beautifully as she slowly turned it. Then Karena began to speak to her. Frostica blinked in surprise when Karena told her that a dragon had said she was supposedly vicious. Diosyre! He's probably spreading that around now, so that no one will come here. she said to Karena. Even though it's been a while since he left he's still trying to make my life miserable? A frustrated look crossed her face. I wish I could leave this place and go meet him again... I would tell him to stop spreading rumors about me so I could have a slightly more normal life, with other dragons around me... I don't understand why he still is trying to ruin my life. My fight with him has long passed, yet his anger at me has not. |

Storm watched the two dragonesses interactions from behind his curtain, prepared to step in if Frostica needed assistance, but unwilling to speak to the other dragoness that was now in his cave. 'Look at me, hiding in my own cave, how pathetic, but I will not talk to her,' he thought angry at Karena's intrusion on his visit with Frostica. Storm idly began to play with some of the coins he was laying on while thinking,' why did she have to come back now, she wasn't invited back to my cave, I know that for a fact, because she didn't ask if she could come back to my cave.' Storm was getting angry not even realizing that his emotions were playing havoc on his chemeleon ability causing him to flicker in and out of site, sometimes in patches. 'Frostica truly is beautiful,' he thought as he admired the view he had of her through the curtain of gemstones. 'I wish I could help her see the rest of Selzar, wait maybe I can, I mean it would have to be winter and I would have to go with her but it is possible,' he thought happy that he might be able to grant Frostica's wish of going to Selzar and seeing the rest of the land. "Frostica, would you mind staying for a bit when you finish speaking to the other dragon I have something I wish to speak to you about," he said as he moved his head out towards her through the curtain, not even looking at Karena. |

Karena hides a smile when she realizes that Storm is jealous of her spending time with Frostica. She turns to Frostica. "Seems my welcome has been nullified. i hope to see you again, Frostica. And if you do ever venture beyond these caves, be extremely careful. There's a horrible creature wrecking havoc on Selzar. The creature is called a Jorthian, and it's poison is deadly if not dealt with quickly. The only way to deal with the poison, though, is burning it out of the dragon's body. But that treatment would be fatal to you, Frostica. Just keep an eye out for an enormous dragon-like creature with four wings and go the other way if you see one. Don't try to get too close to it, or it will try to kill you." She nods her head towards Storm. "I'm glad to see you again, Storm. If you are able to take her away from these caves, you should also keep an eye out for the Jorthian." |

As Frostica listened as Storm spoke to her from behind the curtain, she became puzzled at the way he seemed to be avoiding Karena. I wonder why he's not speaking to her? she thought. Then Karena said that she hoped to see Frostica again. I hope to see you again too. Frostica said. Not many dragons have come here, so I hope you will spread the word about these caves. I hope I will get to see more dragons here. Then Karena talked about there being a horrible creature called a Jorthian roaming around Selzar. A Jorthian? Frostica murmured. They sound terrifying... She shuddered as Karena described the only treatment to get the Jorthian's poison out of a dragon. Burning it out... Frostica said to Karena, still shuddering. Either way would be fatal for me. But why are you telling me this if I cannot leave these caves? Then Karena said to Storm that she was glad to see him again and that if he was able to take Frostica away from the caves, that he should keep an eye out for the Jorthian. So he had seen her before? Frostica thought. Perhaps they didn't get along too well the last time they met... Maybe that's why he hasn't talked to her since she came? But Frostica didn't think about that any longer. Her thoughts were on the second part of what Karena said--exploring Selzar. She turned and walked toward where Storm was behind the curtain and went around it, stopping near where Storm was. Do you think you can really take me away from these caves? she asked him, getting excited about finally exploring Selzar. |

"Actually, I do think I can take you to see Selzar," Storm said taking note of her excitement. "The only way to be able to make it all the way to selzar is if we go during the winter, but we might be able to go outside of the caves to hunt someday if you would like," he said hoping she will go hunting with him one day. "The way this is possible is that I breath ice instead of fire so i could help keep you cold if you start getting to hot," he said remembering the effect of his breath on anything he used it on, whatever he breathed on would freeze instantaniously and stay frozen for at least an hour even in the hottest weather. "And the reason I'm not speaking to that dragon is because the last time I saw her I had a wierd feeling about her, and didn't want to experience it again," he said noticing her curiosity about his actions towards the other dragon. |

You really can help me go to Selzar? Thank you! Frostica said happily. I can't wait for winter to come! Then Storm said that the reason that he wasn't speaking to Karena was that the last time he saw her he had a wierd feeling about her, and that he didn't want to experience it again. Oh, I don't now anything about that. she replied. It sounds strange, though... she thought. Then she noticed something. Since the sky outside the caves was darkening, so was the caves. Soon there would be no light to illuminate the caves. Frostica was also feeling sleepy. Sorry, but I think I have to go back to my cave now. she said to Storm. I'm feeling sleepy and it's getting darker, so I won't be able to see much because I have poor night vision. I'll keep this in my cave, though. she said, holding up the diamond Storm gave her and looking at it again. |

"Goodnight, maybe we can go hunting some day soon," Storm said hopefuly after she said her goodnight. "I can help you with the dark if you would like, its a trick I've used before," he said as he reached for the magic within himself. He called forth a bit of lightning and formed it into a ball in his hand before breathing on it encasing the ball in ice. When he was finished he had a glowing electric ice ball that easily lit his whole cave and set all of his collection to sparkling. "Here you go, it should last for an hour at the least but will probly last for about three with how cold the caves are around here," he said as he offered her the glowing ice sphere. 'I hope she makes it back to her cave safely,' he thought a bit sad that she was leaving but hopeful she would return. |

Thank you! Now I'll be able to see when I go to my cave. Frostica said as she took the ice ball with the lightning inside. She turned and walked to the tunnel that led to her cave and looked back at Storm, the lightning illuminating her face. Goodbye for now, Storm. she said, then turned and set off down the tunnel, the ice ball casting a bright light on the walls around her. Soon the light faded after she went farther into the caves, and Frostica was gone. |

Storm dreamed that night of the night his life changed forever. It was nearing nightfall and his father had yet to return. His mother was getting worried and was just about ready to go look for him when he flew over the tree line and into sight. "There you where were you, I was worried," his mother said slightly frantic at not knowing if something had happened to him, and not noticing Storm in the area, as he was hiding and watching while his siblings slept. "Don't bother me, I was busy," his father said as he roughly pushed passed her into the cave. "Busy, your always busy, what are you doing, why won't you tell me whats wrong," his mother said sounding close to tears. "You want to know whats wrong, welll you are whats wrong," his father said as he lunged forward and clamped his mouth around his mothers neck and bit her head clean off. "Thats one problem gone now for the other," he said turning towards where his siblings were sleeping, Storm was paralyzed by terror at what his father had done and was starring completely frozen at his mothers headless body. He heard the sounds of his father killing his siblings and shortly his father exited the area they had been in. "There all taken care of, now I have nothing tying me to this place," his father said before taking off into the night sky. As he starred at his mother Storm vowed t bring his father to justice. Storm had no idea that he had been wimpering and crying out in his sleep and that the icy tunnels were echoing with the sounds of his nightmare. He woke with a deffening roar of pain that echoed down the tunnels and could probably be heard all over the caves of Suni. |
