GOOD NEWS EVERYONE

Three years!!! Can you believe it's been three years since I've opened this site? It's unheard of for an rp forum to last this long, and even though we've had our down times, we will come back as strong as ever I want to thank everyone that has stuck with tdos through all of it's rough times, and, helping make this what I can now realistically, and with a lot of pride, that The Dragons of Selzar is the absolute best dragon rpg forum on the internet today.

Welcome to The Dragons of Selzar.

This place is designed as a Role-play site where you literally live as a dragon. You create your dragon character, join one of the five dragon clans, and then you live it's life as if it was your life, and adapt it to different scenarios that are brought upon you by other users and characters. This place is a lot of fun and that's what everything is all about.

Come and Join our clan of Dragons!

Frostica nodded after hearing both the dragonesses' answers. "First you go down this tunnel here." she said, turning to the right tunnel in the fork. She walked down it about one dragon length, then glanced back to see if they were following. They were, so she went on, walking slowly so that they wouldn't lose sight of her. She took another right turn, then a left, a center out of three, then another right before entering a long, narrow tunnel. Glancing back again over her shoulder, Frostica saw that they were still following her, so she led the way down the twisting and curving tunnel. Finally, she saw a bit of light up ahead. She quickened her pace, eager to get to the cave as quick as she could, and finally entered the cave.
It was a very large cave, with a couple of icy stalagmites growing up from the floor and many slightly transparent stalactites hanging from the ceiling. The light Frostica had seen earlier came from the right wall of the cave. Being very close to the edge of the caves of Suni with only a thick ice wall between the cave and outside, the wall let in enough light to illuminate the cave. However, the ice wall was thick enough that anyone on the other side would not be able to see through. Frostica smiled and turned to the other dragonesses. "This cave will be able to hide us from those dragons for a while. They won't think of going really far in!"

Cobra followed the other dragonesses and stared in wonder when they entered the cave. It was beautiful. She walked around the stalagmites and touched the stalactites with her nose. She has never seen these wonders before living in the desert. "It's wonderful in here. What do you call these?" She pointed at the stalagtites and stalactites. "Do you live here?" She looked away emmbarassed that she was acting like she was a little kid asking all these questions. She looked at the wall of ice that seperated them from the outside and wondered if the dragons were smat enough to find it. They probably arn't...Any dragon that kills it's own kind isn't smart enough to notice something like that.

Cybera followed Frostica closely, her eyes recording every twist and turn they took. She could tell that Cobra was directly behind her. Cybera smirked quietly. Audio sensors had their advantages, though you never really could enjoy music the same way. They just seemed to filter the soul out of the music. She noticed that Frostica was slowing down, as they had reached their apparent destination. The sight of the cavern was so breath taking, Cybera forgot to continue pretending to breathe. Wow... That wall is thin enough to give light, but outside you wouldn't be able to see anything at all... And I've never seen formations such as these... (Not even the open minded lab techs would believe me, even if I showed them the visual data.) Cybera remembered to "breathe" again. She swept her eyes over the cavern once more, then turned to Cobra. The ones on the ceiling are stalactites and the ones on the ground are stalagmites. Eventually, they will grow together into tall pillars. And these are by far the most beautiful formations I've ever seen. Eventually, they will grow together, forming a tall pillar. Cybera turned to Frostica. Tell me, are there other caverns like this?

"I don't live here. I live farther in, so I'm used to colder temperatures than this. If I lived here, then on sunny days I could melt with all that light coming from the right wall." Frostica answered Cobra.
After hearing Cybera's question, she turned toward her and said, "There are probably hundreds of other caverns here, but most are too small to accomodate three dragons. I can barely fit in a lot of them, and some aren’t really caves at all. They look more like dead ends than actual caves. Other caverns that are large enough are either too far into the caves and too cold for a dragon to handle or too close to the entrance to hide us.”
Frostica walked over to a spot that didn’t have any stalagmites growing up from it and sat down. Her skin turned transparent with all of the light coming from the wall, revealing the grayish spirit that pulsed inside of her. It swirled around in an endless circle. Her bluish-white tail curled around one of the stalagmites that was next to her. “I wonder how these stalagmites are made. I know how the stalactites are created, but not these. Do either of you know?”

She recorded the info in her mind and looked around. She wondered how many caverns there could possibly be in this cave. "It would be nice to live in here. I like how it looks in here."
She watched in awe as Frostica sort of blended in with the ice around her. All but a shadow that looked like her soul is what Cobra could see of her. "That looks amazing! You look so beautiful! Does this happen all the time?" She then looked around her and found a comfortable place to sit.

(sorry its so short. No insperation)

Cybera listened to Frostica's response. (So there are other caverns, but not quite like this one.) Upon seeing Frostica in the light, Cybera's eyes turned a pale blue in total awe. (That thing in her chest... It does remind me so of the mist that rises off the water every dawn in winter... But it pulses like it is alive... It is her essence, her very heart and soul...) She then realized that Frostica had just asked how the stalagmites were formed. Cybera shut her eyes and began searching her memory banks for that knowledge, then opened her eyes once more. I think it's because the water that drips -or dripped- from the stalactites contained tiny ice crystals. When that water hit the floor, the ice crystals would stick and freeze the water they had fallen in. Eventually, these stalagmites formed. Or maybe someone just used ice magic to make little spires and more ice grew on top of it. Cybera shrugged her shoulders. Either way, they're really pretty.

Frostica blushed as Cobra said that she looked beautiful. Thank you for the compliment, and no, it doesn't happen all the time, it just happens when light hits me sometimes. I can blend in very well. She gave a small chuckle. I used to annoy Diosyre all the time by blending in with the ice and jumping out at him when he least expected it. Frostica listened to Cybera answer he question. Hmm... she said, if you say that dragons could have created these stalagmites with ice magic, then I think I could do the same.Concentrating on the air in front of her, she formed ice crystals out of thin air and made them build up on the cave floor to form a tapering cone of ice.
I made a stalagmite! Cool! she exclaimed, then formed more ice to make another stalagmite. Then she created a small ice sculpture that looked somewhat like herself, only a lot smaller. Then she lay down, exhausted. That takes a lot of energy in a season like this, I guess. she said.

"Your welcome Frostica" Cobra nuzzled her. "Sounds like you had a lot of fun doing that to him huh?" She walked over to the ice wall and looked outsied. She saw nothing out there except for prey. She turned back to be surprised by seeing Frostica making a stalagmite. "Wow....Thats awesome! Yeah, ou might want to get a little rest after that. I can imagine it would be harder to make these in this heat." She walked back over to them and sat down. She was about to leave and she wanted her energy. "Well I don't see any activity so I have to go. I have a clan to look after. Before I go I'll tell you if it's safe." She flew through the expance of tunnels and camer to the entrance. She saw nothing out of the ordinary. She flew back to them. "Theres nothing out there so its safe for travel. I have to get going before my clan sends a seach party for me because I've been gone for so long. I hope to see both of you soon." She gave a friendly lick to both of them and walked to the entrance of the cave they were in. She waved goodbye with her tail and flew off. Towards home. Nothing attacked her and there was no movement from any other animal. The other dragons were far away and would never notice anyone near the caves.

(OCC: Yes, that means I'm done with this thread, I have too many other thing to be doing right now. Sorry.)
